They even had a guy in baggy white pants, a purple vest, and a fez riding on a magic carpet. 'Twas grand.
*looks at Aladdin* What are they talking about? I so don't see the connection there  . I know one year at one of my many high schools, they had the prom theme "A Night of Three Wishes". They so should have called me to be head of decorations :x
I probably won't get them, but that's ok - I think Icarus will entertain me.
I love Icarus and Hades, they're hilarious, love that series.
It's one of the rare shows where I love all three main characters and the main villain

DOH! I really need to watch Hercules the series.
It's great, especially when you can get all the Greek references and puns like my dad does. Something will totally fly over my head and he'll crack up laughing at it.

Oh, just thought i'd mention, Dan has lent his voice to the Hercules series many times, as that one reporter.
Homer.
They named the reporter Homer?
Yep- after the composer of the Iliad and the Odyssey.
...Why else would Dan's character be named Homer?
DOH! I really need to watch Hercules the series.

Just anyone missed it or whatever, Hercules and the Arabian Night will air again March 22nd. I don't know the exact time yet though. Hercules (The movie) is coming on as well.

But, keep in mind that the Hercules show was made after King of Theives.

It's Disney Television Animation - if they used Dan for the
Aladdin
show, they'd use him for the
Hercules
show, too. At least, I think so. Maybe the script just didn't call for Genie.

Yeah, but they got everyone else, even Jonathan.
Well, Genie is the wild card in the voice department. We've got two voice actors that are widely accepted (most of the time). If they would have gotten someone else to be Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu and Jafar-it'd be noticeable.
But I honestly think it would have made no sense to have Genie around because he's got the magical advantage.

But remember they had two voices for the Genie - Robin Williams and Dan Castella. I think it was a touchy situation, so that was the easy way to handle it. Just my theory.
