Also Scott Weinger dubbed a voice in the anime "Metropolis".
YES YES OMG HE PLAYED ATLAS AND ATLAS IS TEH SMEX. ^_____^ Of course, Scott played the human incarnation of Atlas on Metropolis, who is much different than the robot Atlas that Scott's character was modeled after. That movie is so full of irony and inside jokes that only a Tezuka fan like me would understand \o/ What with Atlas hating robots, and the inspector's classic "I used to have a dog named Pero...", and the well-anticipated appearance of Mr. Ham Eggs X3 But in my opinion, they should have brought Scott in to play Atlas again for the Astroboy TV remake on Kids' WB. He could have aced that role. But then again, Greg Cipes has a very sexy voice as well. And he played Daichi/Atlas very nicely. ...and I'm going to stop RIGHT NOW because I'm going off topic and probably confusing you all XD
LMAO, *is reminded of the water bottle bit from his broadway special and died laughing* Why couldn't Genie do that?
The water bottle stuff was the best part!!! When it started, I was all, "Why does he have so many water bottles...?"

I absolultely loved his stand-up comedy. In one of my long drives between Seattle and San Diego, I stopped at a hotel once when I had a really bad headache. I sat in my room and watched one of his comedy specials on HBO, and I laughed so hard I nearly peed my pants!
Robin Williams = great headach remedy

It would make sense that if you loved his stand-up comedy, you would love the Genie. That's what it is, it's Robin's comic genius in animation.
I think it's awesome he got that chance, because he brought Aladdin to life, w/out him, it wouldnt' have been the movie it is today.
It's too bad Disney pissed him off and he didn't come back for the 2nd movie... he could have helped it quite a bit.

Personally, I like Robin's stand-up work better than his movie work (sans the Genie, of course). I love his performances at Comic Relief in the late 80s and early 90s.
I'd quote some of his bits, but it wouldn't be...tasteful.

I wish I could name all the things Robin Williams has done... but if I did, I'd be here all day.
