When I saw Michael at the 50th media celebration ( the day before the 5th). I was seriously going to protest " Bring back fairytale musicals!"
*snickers* You shoulda been at the park on May 5th... when we were standing at the gates, waiting to be let in, we saw him walk across in front of the train station... and everyone booed. Then, we all booed him solidly in front of the media at the opening ceremony. Surprisingly, Iger was applauded during the ceremony, though. Seems like people are at least being hopeful.
You have to handle stress at high amounts of people, to be a good people person and patience. Along with being happy at all hours of your shift. 40hrs a week...
So true.
I'm known as the smiling girl amongst the performers at work now. After years of theme park work at Disney and SeaWorld, it's just automatic for me to smile when I'm onstage.
so what do you perform? are you one of the disney princesses?
I think she used to be in Store Operations in WDW. Right xfkirsten? As a cast member for the parks there's a certain characterirstic that you have to obtain. Be happy, smiling and going to tha extra mile for the guest. That's why when you go to Disneyland or WDW it's always a positive experience. Sometimes your Disney etiquette carries on to your future jobs. xfkirsten, Do you still do that Disney two finger point at SeaWorld? If a guest ask for directions?
Yup, I was in Adventureland/Pirates/Glow Merchandise at WDW, then transferred into Characters there..
Here at SeaWorld, I started in characters and have moved into the lighting and stage department, currently working at Cirque de la Mer.
I totally do the Disney point now.
It gets to be such a habit. SeaWorld and Disney basicaly run on the same policies like that. Disney's Traditions and SeaWorld's Cornerstones are virtually the same company orientation, with different terms for their guest service guidelines.

Kirsten would be Cinderella: NBA Star Edition on account of her being really tall.

Good thing, you guys aren't.
I could see AG spending her paycheck on all Aladdin memorabilia, Aladdin animation cells, and coming to the Aladdin special events. Giving pick up lines to Aladdin. Along with the hefty Disney cast member discount.
