While I used to think he was incredibly annoying, I've grown to respect him. As the story goes on, he becomes more and more respectable. <br /> <br />In Aladdin I, he's a good ruler and a loving father but definitely absent-minded. Of course, some of that came from the whole snake staff thing. <br /> <br />In Aladdin II, his wisdom and able to recognize sources of wisdom becomes to be more visible. His oldness is very much still there, but not as much as in the first movie. <br /> <br />In Aladdin III is when I feel most reverence to him. His wisdom and justice is more strong here than in any of the other movies.
