Treasure hunting, getting caught in lies, etc. He's figured out that he needs to be himself, but that's easier said than done, especially since I don't think he's really sure of who he is. Watching Aladdin at 2 AM does things to the way you see things. He was just being a little more open about his fears of the future than normal. He wanted to be able to provide for Jasmine (because all he could afford was a bag of rice <img src="images/smiles/icon_lol.gif" alt="Laughing" border="0" />) on his own; Not to have to use the sultan's money (which is pretty much Jasmine's money) to get her stuff. <br />For a while he kept choosing money and Jasmine went along with it because she saw how much he really wanted to do this, but after she got pissed at him, he got his head on straight and stopped worrying so much about money and remembered what was really important, which is Jasmine.
