I was volunteering to build the floats for the Tournament of Roses. They asked me to get bark for the suitcases in their storage room. There they were beautiful. The color wasn't light purple. It was dark purple. Cool huh ?

I've never seen a wild rose in purple, either. Just various shades of pinks, scarlets, and yellows.

Flowers are well..... artistic. But I like black dark roses mostly.
Black roses are good. Only problem is, I'm pretty sure there are no wild black roses. What a pity...
Maybe he meant the purple roses. I've seen them, they're so beautiful.

. Daddy picked a forbidden flower, and his daughter had to pay for that. Only there SHE asked him to bring her that flower from his trip.
They definitely had BatB in mind when they wrote that episode; actually, I think the voice actor who played Arbutus was in a TV adaptation of BatB.
Wow. I did not know that.
And Ron Perlman looks rather good as Vincent (his character on the BatB TV show).
And I just found this out. Tad Stones, writer/director of some of the Aladdin episodes and the two sequels, is involved in a "HellBoy" animated series-in progress with Ron Perlman reprising his movie role.

You know, that probably partially explains why I don't like that episode all that much

Flowers are well..... artistic. But I like black dark roses mostly.
And Arbutus and I were sort of like friends, and I respect that plant lord.

I had to go with Do The Rat Thing, because I didn't like how Garden of Evil ended. The tree (What was his name?) and Aladdin & Co. merely misunderstood one-another. The misunderstanding never got resolved. I know they re-planted the flower, but it didn't have to end that way.

Garden of Evil is a very touching story, but I've seen it hundred times, and sometimes I'm in no mood to meditate on it's moral. And I just love Iago's splendid appearance in "DtRT"
.

I don't like GoE as much as I once did, but I still prefer it over Do the Rat Thing. You all know how much I love morally ambigous characters, so of course I like the ep that shows Al's darker side.
