I cannot believe you're referring to the Aladdin doll as a "Barbie". That's so twisted and wrong! They're Fashion dolls! Barbie is by Matel, and even then, you have Barbie, Ken, Midge, Skipper, and so on... I sort of collect fashion dolls, so I tend to get anal about names.
The Aladdin dolls were made by Mattel, too and calling him a "Ken" doll sounds just as odd . I have never used the term fashion doll nor have I heard of it. Besides Aladdin, I collect holiday and around the world princess dolls. I have a few oddities in my collection, but that's basically it.
Putting either Barbie or Ken with Aladdin's name sounds odd. But yes, they are called Fashion dolls, though Barbie, of course, was the first. There have been others such as Jem, Maxie, Jazzie, Darci, Dollican, Dusty, Tammy, etc. Though none have outlived Barbie. Oh, now my husband, who's twice the doll expert I'll ever be is telling me that it is an Aladdin Barbie, because it was made by Matel. Still, anytime I hear that phrase, I think of Aladdin with a huge pink "Barbie" logo tattooed across his chest. lol I have Aladdin and Jasmine, and they're wearing matching bathing suits. ~Hikaru
Actually it's the disney logo with the year of 1960 at the back of his neck. But wow, you remember Barbie's cousin Maxie? I even had a Maxie doll.) lol But I got the changing color jewel of Aladdin. Any of the Aladdin (boy) I couldn't even find the Aladdin doll with the little lamp around his neck. I think it's another surprise jewel. yes, Ag has it.
I can definitely see why people would take you to be part Asian - your cheek/jaw structure and nose has that type of look.
But on the flip side, I can see how you can also
not
be Asian.
It reminds me of "The King and I" movie and how they casted Rita Moreno (who was also in "Westside Story") as Tuptim.

Hmm, some people have mistakenly thought I was part Asian, considering that the bulk of my genes come from Europe (Hungarian, French, Irish, a wee bit of Scot, and German) and the Southwestern United States (one of the legends of my father's side of the family is that one of our female ancestors got carried off by a local tribe and came back in the spring with a bun in the oven).
Syera: Thanks.

They want to think you're an Arab? Oh, good grief... I guess I can kind of see where that might come from, but to me, your face is
way
more consistant in structure to my Germanic-descended relatives.

- I dunno... I've never seen Jafar get a bug-eyed look quite like that.
Ah, and you look like one of my relatives. Let me guess... some of your ancestors came from
Germany
or somewhere close, right?
Nez
- cute costume.

Hey, don't apologize. You're pretty cute, even when emo-ish.

Speaking of Irn-Bru, that reminds me: I found

It's a pity I like neither Coke nor orange soda, eh?

KH was ok, but I couldn't really get into it. Of course, I'm still stuck in the 80s/early 90s. Classic NES Mario all the way!

Looking at the price of a PS3 coming out super soon? Oh, I can wait on KHIII
. Hopefully by that time, the price will have gone down cause I think Hayner best expresses my reaction on the situation:
KHIII can take its sweet time
. And I don't want them to half-do it anyways.
