omg! I am jealous. You took a picture with Al and Jas.
Anyways,
I am glad that you had such a wonderful time. Still, I am planning to get that annual pass and I can be there everyday torturing my old co-workers and bribing them to sign me in.

I had Prime Rib at Blue Bayou, and no I didn't see the Aladdin musical. I heard there's more Aladdin stuff at California Adventure, though.
BTW, I got the pics back Friday. I'll be home Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, so I'll post some once I get there.

Pretending is where all the fun comes from. Hell, I knew that wasn't Aladdin but whenever that guy called me a princess, I was this close to passing out
Jasmine statue...is it a porcelain acrylic one?
Yes, I believe it is. I wanna start collecting those.

Yum blue bayou. did you have their Monte Cristo sandwiches? that is the most recommended thing to eat when you eat there. Their countdown fusilini is awesome at the pizza port and their fantasia ice cream at Gibson Girl and their dipped candy apples.
Ag? girl what are you talking about? Aladdin is real. He can be in TWO places at the same time. carpet transport him there.
As an Aladdin fan did you see the Musical at DCA? Disney's California Adventures

*dies* was was actually at the park Saturday
Sounds like you had an awsome time. I still refuse to eat where you did (it's called the blue bayou) because it's sooo expensive and I never want to deal with getting reservations.

he offers an arm and says "Of course, but Princess, may I borrow your arm?"
To which I would have responded, "Uh, no... it doesn't come off very well."
Or something similar.

Pssh...fake Aladdin?! Offend not my delicate ears with such language!
Dude, what do you mean you don't know what Disneyland looks like, you've seen Kirsten photos!
Anyway...yes, Aladdin = Real. I met him at Epcot on our last trip there (he wasn't appearing in MK any of the days we were there!!! But that's OK because Epcot is my favorite place to meet Aladdin anyway...) Asked for a picture...he offers an arm and says "Of course, but Princess, may I borrow your arm?" This was me going "*dreamy siiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* Of course, Aladdin...any time..." The nice lady who took the picture for me said she thought it was so cute how positively giddy I was about the whole thing.
(She told me she still just loves characters and hoped her daughter would feel the same way...she was encouraged to bump into me, standing in my Disney Princesses baseball cap camping out to meet Aladdin and Jasmine.)

Then why not just pretend you've gone to Disneyland?
But seriously, sounds like it was fun, Hikaru. More fun than giant fuzzy caterpillars!

Post subject: Disneyland was awwwwwesome!!!!
Yes, I went to Disneyland on Saturday. Went with my big sister and one of my myspace/LJ/longtime internet friends. We rode the Teacups, the Alice in Wonderland ride, and It's A Small World. (I have fond memories of those rides, so at least have to ride It's A Small World everytime I go to Disneyland.) We also rode the Matterhorn (where I discovered I've still got it when it comes to screaming.), Pirates of the Caribean (And you Jack Sparrow fangirls will be happy to know he's featured in the ride.), The Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Space Mountain. I also got pics with five of the Disney Princesses. (We didn't get one of Belle.) And, I got their autographs. Oh, yeah. And Aladdin liked my necklace that I was wearing.
The jewel was an amethyst. I never had a crush on Aladdin, but I still love him a lot in a different way.
Ok, so I know it wasn't really the characters, but I had a lot of fun pretending they were. And I got some great stuff while I was there. I got a statue of Jasmine in her purple gown, a statue of Tink standing by a leaf, a Jasmine pin (also in the purple gown), another Jasmine pin which is sort of like a locket, a Disney Princess CD (The Ultimate Collection, I think.) and a Little Mermaid CD. I can't remember the name of it without looking at it, but it has In Harmony on it. I really love Jodi Benson's voice.
Oh, and I also got an autograph book where I have the princess' autographs. The book has Tink on it, and the pen is a Princess pen.
Oh, and we ate at the restaurant that is in the POTC ride. I kid you not. (The funny thing, too, is that as we passed it on the ride, I commented on how cool it would be to eat there. Apparently that was some big surprise.)
All and all, I'd say I had an awesome time. I want to make it a tradition to go back every year, or every couple of years. I know that I want to go with my best friend at some point.
