I really can't choose because all of them are amazing and each bring something unique to the story but I just threw my vote at Aladdin. I really think he's the Disney hero/prince/dude who had to work the hardest out of all of them. I mean he was nothing at the beginning of the film, but he ends up winning the love of a princess and making something of himself. Sure he had the help of a Genie, a Magic Carpet, and an adorable klepto monkey but he's the one who outwitted Jafar in the end. And I think he really develops during both the film and the series. And then there's Jasmine. She was likeable during the first film, and yes I did dress up as her for Halloween like every other little girl but I didn't really start to appreciate her character until I got older and saw the TV Series. I did like the fact that she wasn't going to just mindlessly marry some prince like her father wanted her too, and the fact that she could see past the fact that Aladdin was a commoner. I really hate when people say that she's selfish because she's not. For example, in "Bad Mood Rising" she did realize that as a princess her duty was to serve her people even if that meant pushing aside her own interests. I really like "The Ethereal" when she jumps in front of that kid--just a random, peasant kid--and "dies" in his place. That really is the main reason why I like her best out of all the other princesses, because I think she really does deserve that title--she does really care about her people. I think she matures a lot from RoJ to KoT. Take her reaction to Aladdin lying about Iago. But in the Kot, when they find out that Cassim is the King of Thieves, she calmly asks Aladdin if he knew about this, and when he answers she doesn't blow up at him, whereas RoJ Jasmine would have stormed off. And lastly, she's the first princess to really kick butt . I mean she almost killed Aladdin in "Forget Me Lots". "The Secret of Dagger Rock" was just epic. And "The Vapor Chase" was amazing because she almost strangled Abis Mal.
It's easy. Genie is my favourite. He may joking arond a lot, but he is truly a friend.
I like Aladdin too, but I think as I get older I start to not like him that much asI like Genie now.
For others:
Jasmine is good, but not really interest in her.
Jafar is a good villain, but I don't like him much.
Iago is better, but not favourite.
Carpet is close to Aladdin, but still not favourite
Abu not much to say about him.
Sultan is really childish but I like wen he gets serious in some episodes.
So, that's my thoughts on the characters.

My favorite has got to be Aladdin himself. Not only is he good looking, but he is also quick on his feet, while still good to the girl he loves. That, and I love his eye rolling at Genie every now and then.
(Genie and Abu are tied for a close second in my book)

lol I agree. Aladdin lied way too much. It must have been his fear of Jasmine's rejection if he exposes the truth. Another thing I noticed is that he has to steal food in order to survive. Some advice: GET A JOB
Other than that, Aladdin is an amazing Disney hero.

I'll have to say Aladdin. He is smooth, cool and confident as Meesh's signature says.
At least he thinks he is. I don't know if here's a topic for this but isn't Aladdin one lying bastard? In the movies and the series he lies basically about everything to everyone and then tries to get away with it. He's actually pretty dumb too; did he really think he could marry the princess and then lie about being a real prince and never tell anyone what country he's from?
Unless he wanted, um, something quicker with Jasmine. My so called friends tend to tell me that Aladdin is a kind of man no-one in real life would want to be near with. And I kind of agree with them.
BUT, that's why I love Al: he's just like me.

Sultan, because he's rich and powerful, is he not?
In all seriousness, my favorite characters would have to be Jasmine and Carpet. Jasmine is intelligent and sweet, while Carpet is blessed with a loyalty no other sidekick can achieve.

I go through character phases where I am all about that character when I think I relate the most to them. I started off with Genie, moved on to Aladdin and now I'm entering a Jasmine phase. I'll be terribly afraid of the Jafar phase

My favorite character changes like every year or so. Growing up was Jasmine, then it was Carpet. Now, it's probably Aladdin.
