Post subject: Disney Armenian Books
I went to my Armenian church earlier today and I found some Walt Disney Books that were in armenian. They are:
Snow white and the seven dwarfs (Snow White and the dwarfs are in front of a well)
The Jungle Book (Mowgli is sitting on Balloo's tummy)
101 Dalmatians (Pongo, Perdy are with some of the puppies)
Beauty and the Beast (Belle and the Beast are outside in the snow, belle is feeding the birds, they are in the costumes they wore in "Something there")
The Lion King (Mufasa and Simba are smiling at each other)
The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride (Kiara and Kovu are playing, with Zazu watching over them, and Simba sits nervously from a distance)
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo gives Esmerelda an Esmerelda doll)
I bought the TLK one.
The Translations are:
Snow white and the seven dwarfs: "yeotut ttsvovnere yev tsivnrtohre" (The seven dwarfs and Snow White)
The Jungle Book: "Moglin" (Mowgli)
101 Dalmatians: "101 shnignere" (The 101 puppies). 101 = "hairour meg"
Beauty and the Beast: "kehghovhin ov katsaneh" (I may have made a few mistakes in this one)
The Lion King: "arivts arkan"
Simba's Pride: "Simbain arkahovtivneh"
Hunchback of Notre Dame: "govtsigeh" (I don't know what that word means)
