Well, yeah, I knew what you meant. I just like staring at Jafar.

Now this is not something I EVER need to be told to do.
I mean look closely at the faces and see the similarities.

She's never actually seen the Lion King, but still, I didn't think there was anyone who could mistake Scar for Simba. Simba's cute and cuddly and Scar is so evil-looking. Although I admit my Scar plushie comes close to being cuddly but I say the same thing about my Jafar one...

Has she never seen the movie? I've only seen it once, but I think I could tell the difference.
I think I'm going to go put "Be Prepared" on my iPod.

I like it too. Scar is one of my favorite villains. I have a Scar plushie that I bought in the Animal Kingdom. How scary is this amount of disney ignorance: I show the Scar plushie to my mom and she says, "Oh, is that Simba?"

The Hebrew voices of Jafar and Scar happen to be the same guy. Check "Be Prepared", "Prince Ali Reprise" in Hebrew on youtube.
By the way - it's also the same guy who did Sebastian!

Well, as far as I know, Scar never had a bird minion and if you are thinking of Zazu, he was never Scar's minion. Also, Shere Khan works alone in "Jungle Book". Other than that, you make some good points.

I definitely agree with you. I considered Scar and Jafar very similar even before I found out they had the same animator. But I do disagree with you about "long and non-appealing faces." I consider Jafar's face
very
appealing. But that's just me. Overall you made a good point.

Post subject: Captain Hook, Hades, Jafar vs. Shere Khan, Prince John, Scar
This is not a battle thread, but I was wondering does anyone see any similarities between these bunch of villains?
Captain Hook and Shere Khan
Hades and Prince John
Jafar and Scar
I will give you my reasons why:
1) Jafar and Scar both have an ambitious motive, have suave voices and maniacal smiles, have long and non-appealing faces, are sly, are accused of attempted murder and assault and battery, want to overthrow the kings, murder the going-to-be kings, they both executed their villainous plots by being close to and trusted by the King (the Sultan and Mufasa), both were animated by Andreas Deja, and have minions who are birds who go from being their minions to being their rivals’ (the good characters) minions.
2) Captain Hook and Shere Khan both have a hateful motive, want to murder the young ones, a flying boy and a jungle boy, and have an assistant.
3) Hades and Prince John both have a sibling rivalry motive, are accused of treason, have sidekicks, want to murder their opponents, and are known for their childish aspects – Hades for being hotheaded and Prince John for sucking his thumb.
Do you guys agree or disagree?
