The featurette is an excuse for Iago abuse (see my avatar). I approve of this.

There's a feature on the DVD that's a tour of Genie's lamp. It's probably completely cheesy and for the lolz, but it might still be able to help.

The lamp is like a TARDIS. It has whatever he wants it to have, though he may have ejected the pool after it started leaking...

Yeah, it's basically a lounge room filled with pillows and a circular couch

But they show the inside of Jeannie's bottle in "I Dream of Jeannie"

They didn't show the inside of Eden's bottle either

Thanks, guys!
Hmm, maybe there was some episode that showed the inside of Eden's bottle? Don't really remember...

Sorry, I don't have anything much to add. I don't live up to the hype.
I just imagine it looks like however he wants it to look like at the time.

Oh, pish-posh!....Heather has better advice than I do
Besides the DVD featurette and the mentionings of what's inside his lamp in the series, I have a book called "The Genie's Wish" that shows a picture of him inside his lamp and it's rather dull. It's him sitting on the floor with a bunch of puzzles, games, word searches, etc. and a calendar marking off the days he's been in the lamp
. This is radically different from what the DVD shows, but it's really up to you.

If it's for a fanfic, I say let your imagination take you!
My reasoning is that there have been several hints to the inside of Genie's lamp, but some of them seem to contradict themselves.
In the original movie, Genie cramps himself inside the lamp while talking to Aladdin and calls it "itty bitty living space." However, throughout the movie and the series, it is hinted at that he has a kitchen, a bathtub, a place to sleep, etc.
And the DVD has a special feature where you can go inside Genie's lamp, and it's enormously luxurious inside.
So? My advice to you, unless Calluna or AG have something better (they always do), is to use your own imagination. After all, it is a shape-shifting Genie who maintains it.

Hmm... I don't think so. The only genie lamp I can think of showing the inside was Norm from Fairly Odd Parents, so that's the only clear one in my mind. I'd have to look it up, but I don't recall seeing the inside. If it ever was, I'd check the episodes with Eden.

Post subject: question about Genie's lamp
For a fanfic:
What does the inside of Genie's lamp look like? Is there an episode that shows it?
