The term "happy medium" generally refers to a point of balance between two extremes that works out well.

For example, "My latest project was stressing me out but I really didn't want to give it up, so I had to find a happy medium."

Oh wow. I never heard of that term before. I am learning something new everyday.

A happy medium ? A medium is a doctor? Oh...Wait....Now I get it.

Medical and Comedian: Medium. Wait...that didn't look right... or was it a mispelling?
Like Median.
When you said medium. It means psychic.

I love Don Bluth movies! One of the main reasons they really appeal to me is that they're so much more serious than other animated films - not that they don't have their humor, but the general storylines, when you look at them, are actually pretty serious and reflect real-life problems to degrees that other companies don't ususally dare to do.

And a lot of them have Dom Deluise. That's always a plus. Very Happy

One of my cousins used to watch The Land Before Time so much that I was positively sick of it, but I could probably stand to watch it now. As for the sequels, I saw one of them and that was more than enough. As a general rule, the only thing the sequels to the original Don Bluth films have managed to do was defile the originals. They completely lost the original spirit, becoming too silly - probably more "kid friendly" or something.

All the same, though, I did enjoy Fivel Goes West. Tiger's antics were priceless. Laughing

Was Thumbelina a Don Bluth film? Because that one WASN'T all that good. At least it was an accomplishment visually, because the rest of it hurts to watch! Laughing

Or Good Will Hunting. You know, the SERIOUS role he got an OSCAR for

Good Will Hunting? With Matt Damon and Ben Affleck? I'm trying to recall if Robin is in there. Remind me what role did he play? Or Was it "Dead Poets Society" that you recall?

The reason I said "24 hour photo". Because it's a like a pschyo thriller and Robin was the psycho in that one. It's really hard to see him in that kind if role than the type of movies that he's in.

I think a lot of the Don Bluth films are underated (Except Land Before Time which is the ultimate "OMG I hope that doesn't happen to my fandom" movie. They are on sequel what? 11? Laughing)

They're on sequel "We'd better stop numbering them now because even we think we're getting ridiculous...but yet...we can't stop...it's like drugs!"

Although, I do LOVE the ORIGINAL Land Before Time. I just watched it at the end of last school year and hadn't seen it in at least 6 years...oh, it was wonderful.

I will admit that the fact Ewan McGregor was it in intrigued me farther

He's been doing animated films lately. But, I imagine him more as being a Disney prince then a bird (Valiant) . Yeah, he intrigues me.

You have a point there. I mean, you have Adela Noriega and Sergio Sendel working on La Esposa Virgen, and let's face it. It wasn't very good. I only watch it out of loyalty to Adela. Because I definitely hate Jose Guadalupe Cruz(Jorge Salinas). Both the actor and the character.

I have absolutely no idea who any of those people are... Shocked
