What's with this new optimisim? |
I've never really been very optimistic about anything. Maybe just that it's Aladdin, and I achieved the unattainable goal of getting the three movies, and now that makes me be more optimistic towards getting the series.

Honestly, I don't think theres much need to petition to get the series on DVD. I haven't seen all of them (the ones I've seen are curtosy of a friend of mine who has them all on her computer ) but alot of 90's cartoons are coming out on DVD now (ie. Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers, Dinosaurs) So I think we'll get our turn in time. |
What I said earlier, if you guys are just patient our time will come soon. There's probably no need to petition it |

Well, first of all, if we sent one, you have to address whoever you are sending the letter to.
Dear __________,
We are writing to you on behalf of the Disney's Aladdin series. Many of us feel that if the episodes were put onto a DVD, it would be a great product that a lot of people would by. We would enjoy it ourselves as well.
Many of us grew up watching this and have become fond of it, and we want to add this to our collection so we can watch them over and over again, and someday pass them onto our children. No Disney collection could be complete without the magic and fantasy of Aladdin. "Fantasy, if it's really convincing, can't become dated for the simple reason that it represents a flight into a dimension that lies beyond the reach of time." (Walt Disney) We consider this to be something that should be treasured throughout time.
Happiness is found in the little things, and we believe that the series was, and still is, a way to remember back to our childhood and the innocence of it. In the words of Walt Disney, "Cartoon animation offers a medium of storytelling and visual entertainment which can bring pleasure and information to people of all ages everywhere in the world."
Here, we've gathered a list of people with their email addresses who would appreciate if our request were approved. Please contact whoever’s name we decide to sign at the bottom with their email address if there are any questions.
Sincerely,
_____________ |

Well, I used to believe that online petitions didn't mean a thing, but I've seen what making a lot of noise can do. |
Oh yes, thats how we got Daniel Jackson back on SG-1 when he left during season 6. (I love Corin for Jonas but I just had to say "stop with this crap and give back Daniel and for pete sake do somthing better with his character so Michael will feel better about where his character was headed) and thats how were trying to get Ford back to atlantis, but I digress

I want to see the series other than on those stupid Princess DVDs. |
I don't even like those stupid Princess DVDs.
But of course I would buy the entire Aladdin series on DVD for the sake of nostalgia. |

Amen to that! Everytime I watch those Dvd's it makes feel like I'm a child (as meaning the voice that all ppl use when they talk to puppies and babies). |

Problem is, I don't know how you would start an online petition, or who you would send the letters to. And I'm not great at persuasive writing, either. I'll have to think of some good reasons. |
I might not be good at persuasive speeches, but we could work together on one sometime....... |

If the petition starts, I'll gladly sign it. And I'll convince other friends and contacts of mine to sign it too. |
