Thanks for sharing! I like what he came up with. Too bad he didn't put a hat on at the end. |

Now a guy needs to do a video for the Aladdin look |
This guy does a video for a Jafar look - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_82jrb-GbI. I actually quite like it... it's over-the-top a bit in regards to eye make up when it comes to actually wearing it, but he looks quite good after it's done. He's quite tan to start with.
He hasn't done an Aladdin look though. |

Oh, I didn't mind the eye make-up at all. I can imagine Jasmine in real life putting on lots of eyeliner and mascara. It was the foundation that I thought was a bit much. But it's an unfair criticism, now that I think about it. Michelle is naturally pale and she needed to look tan for the Jasmine look, which is why she did it. Now a guy needs to do a video for the Aladdin look "Use this shampoo to have naturally amazing hair! I got this fez at forever 21. But make sure to go barefoot even when you're engaged to the princess already. You don't want the boys back home thinking you're whipped." |

You know, that actually doesn't look bad. I've seen ones that are way more gaudy looking and play up the colors she wears more than look like Jasmine. They're Jasmineish, but not anything I can see Jasmine wearing. She has a more natural look and I think she honored that in the color choices.
But keep in my mind my eye make-up basically looks like this, only I have don't have to extend the outer corners of my eyes as they're already large |

By the way, this proves that girls really do love Jasmine. It was risky for Michelle Phan to do this. Youtubers only talk about the most recent stuff in pop culture so they can get as many hits as possible. Events that happened even a week ago are considered to be too old to talk about in the viral video world. Her subscribers didn't request a Jasmine video, either.
Also, the make-up company Lancome pretty much owns her channel now, and every video of hers has to shout them out. She doesn't mention them in this video. That means she did this for free, at the risk of covering a topic that wasn't in demand. So even though I really don't like that she used way too much make-up for Jasmine, I think it's cool that she did it, because it just shows how much girls like Jasmine |

Don't get too excited. Michelle Phan always uses a truck load of make-up for her videos, and I don't think you guys will like what she came up with that much. I don't want to be mean about it because she's obviously an Aladdin fan. You can tell because of what she says at 5:12!

I think it's really cool that she and her sister chose Jasmine (her sister did it better, I think). Michelle Phan is really famous on youtube and this video is recent, which is even cooler. She's a sailor moon fan too |
