Wait, what? I knew Genie sounded a little different in certain parks stuff, but I just figured that they weren't bothered to contact Dan. That's weird. I love that we find it out eight years later. That's how much new content we're getting in this fandom. |

So that means in Kingdom Hearts 3 (if Agrabah will be there) he will voice Genie?
Well, Dan was good, but Jim Ross Meskimen is also good and sounds a bit like Robin Williams (when I first heard him as Genie in Kinect Disneyland I thought it was Robin). Of course Robin Williams will always be Genie for me. |

|
Jim Ross Meskimen (born September 10, 1959) is an American comedian, impressionist, and actor who is best known for his work on the improvisation show Whose Line Is It Anyway?.
For Disney, he is a "voice double" for Genie from the Aladdin franchise. He first voiced the character in the 2008 video game Disney Th!nk Fast and began voicing him in other projects, including Kinect Disneyland Adventures and Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.
....tell me I'm not the only one who didn't know this? Dan apparently stopped in 2006. |
