| I wish they were doing something with Cassim and Mozenrath and/or maybe some of the other characters from the TV series instead. Mirage in live action would be cool.
Honestly, Robin Williams was great, but the Genie was never the chief draw in "Aladdin" for me. It was the story, the music, the art, and Jafar  The TV show had a lot of magic and imagination in it. The episodes "Garden of Evil" and "Secret of Dagger Rock" are amazing. |

| According to this link, Disney is planning to give the Genie the live action treatment in a prequel. Nice! Later in the article is talk about similar treatment of Aladdin, reportedly at least.
