My Goodness, what were they thinking? The Cheetah girls? Singing I Won't Say(I'm in Love)? There goes my love for that song. _________________ I can show you the world

Has anyone else seen the "Disney 411" about this cd? They show the "Cheetah Girls" singing the song, but Raven isn't there with them. I still haven't gotten my copy of the cd yet. Stupid broken car. _________________

I've only half seen the Disney 411 thing... I was a bit distracted at the time. But when I was at DCA a few weeks ago, they were taping the "Disneymania 3" concert there with a whole bunch of the artists. *shudders* _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. I still say you should have thrown a brick at Raven. |

That would have involved having to be in her presence. :lol" _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. But I will put anything into my mouth that is given to me, whether it's supposed to go there or not. Because... I'm different. |

Heya guys. Has anyone got the cd yet?.. i was jkust wondering if someone can post any of these songs on here please? |
Ahh, I have it. And I'm willing to share MP3s if anyone wants to AIM me.
It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I actually *gulp* like it. Here's a mini-review (I don't have the case in front of me, so if I can't remember an artist or track order right, I'm sorry):
1. Under the Sea- Raven: Ugh. Just....ugh. Raven sings it with a Jamacian accent. Scary.
2. Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride- Jump 5: It's a rock version of the song, which I'm trying to like, but can't. It just doesn't work, IMO.
3. A Whole New World- Nick and Jessica: I still don't like her vocal, but the song is really pretty.
4. It's a Small World (Rap Remix): AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!
5. Bare Necessites- Bowling for Soup: I like this. Jungle Book songs have been treated well on Disneymania CDs.
6. I Won't Say- Cheetah Girls: Actually, I think it's just the 3-LW part of the Cheetah girls, but... I like it. I know, I know... but I do. It's sugary, but it connects with me, for what it is.
7. Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah- AJ and Aly: I don't hate this, even if I don't like the Aly part of the group. I'm surprised by how much it works.
8. Kiss the Girl- Vitamin C: Ehhh, no opinion, really. It's kind of annoying.
9. Part of Your World- Skye Sweetnam: It's an attempt to do a hard rock version of the song. Well, as hard rock as Skye Sweetnam gets. I don't hate it so much, until the fakey Sebastian vocal starts yelling at her at the end of the song.
10. Colors of the Wind- Christy Carlson Romano: I like this, but I might be biased considering that I think she's the only Disney Channel star worth a blitznak.
11. Proud of Your Boy- Clay Aiken: Gorgeous, still. It's nice to *finally* have it on a CD.
12: Strangers Like Me- ..Eversomethingorother: It's not bad. It's certainly not my favorite, but it works well in a more upbeat tone.
13. A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes- Kimberly Locke: Very pretty. I love her voice, and the song goes well until a random chorus joins her at the end. *Shrugs*
14. Cruella DeVil- LaLanie or something (The Lizzie McGuire co-star): Just...ugh.
15. When You Wish Upon a Star- Jesse McCartney: It's good...for Jesse McCartney.... _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

For some reason I just can't seem to picture Raven singing "Under the Sea." _________________ I can show you the world

I got mine today - and so far on the songs that I've listened to, I agree with everything that SF said.
At least I have "Proud of Your Boy" now. _________________
