Nathan Lane is a really funny voice actor, but he rubs me funny, and I thought Pumbaa was annoying, so, I'm one of those rare people who doesn't really like Timon and Pumbaa all that much either. Confused

I liked Pumbaa when I was younger, but the older I got the more I thought he annoyed me. I still love Timon because he is a smartass and steals Pumbaa's ideas to say they are his own Laughing

Yeah Timon's hula cracks me up every time!

I do like the soundtrack, the score is great and the songs are too, I just don't think they're of the same standard of the Ashman/Menken (and Rice) works on TLM, B+B, and Aladdin, or Menken's later work on Pocahontas (I think Savages has to be one of my all time favorites now!), Hercules and Hunchback.

I love Lebo M's version of "Circle of Life" that he performed for the opening of Animal Kingdom and the Disney Proms in London last year (man was I upset I couldn't go to that, and even more upset when they edited about half an hour out of the TV version!). His version has more passion and soul in it than either the film or Elton John versions IMO and they should have included that over the "Circle of Stars" version on the Platinum DVD.

Jasmine: Actually, I know how to dance because I am a princess. But it's not like if we did have one, it would be in character for you to know how to dance considering you were a street rat.

And don't even mention that circle of stars crap. Goah. I am SO HAPPY they didn't do that to us. I would have puked myself inside out.

Anyone on Disney channel who is an actor in a show basically was given the chance to sing the Circle of Life. Together they are the circle of stars *barfs*
