Did Disney ever publish music for Aladdin's background instrumental songs? ("To Be Free", "the Ends of the Earth", "The Kiss", etc.) I heard that they don't, but I want to be sure.
I just got finished transcribing "To Be Free" for piano, and it sounds pretty awesome!! The only thing is, I dunno how to post it or anything. Is there a program that can do music? _________________

Is it in the Aladdin song book? Or is that just the main songs? |

No, the instrumentals, sadly, are not in the Aladdin songbook. Just the main seven.
And do you know how I could possibly get my transcribed song onto the computer? Is there a program that can do musical barlines and stuff? (i have no scanner) _________________

The instrumentals? Or the main songs (the ones with words on them?) _________________

I know there are programs that do that (my old orchestra teacher had one...) but I don't know of any free ones. |

No, I'm saying I figured out the music (chords, melody, the whole shabang) to it and wrote it down onto piano paper.
Are you saying "To Be Free" has words? There aren't any on the sound track. I mean, I know Genie talks about wanting to be free, but actual lyrics? _________________

I know of Sibelius, but its cheapest program is a hundred bucks. _________________

Yes Meesh, there are lyrics to "To Be Free".. When I watched the Aladdin Musical. i thought that it was a deleted song from the movie. But it isn't...
It was a Princess Jasmine song in the play. You know it fitted with the whole theme of being free.
Aladdin wanted to be free from poverty..
Jasmine wanted to be free from being force to marry
Genie wanted to be free from the lamp etc etc..
Do you want to know the lyrics to it? It's on the "Aladdin Musical Spectacular" soundtrack.
