|
|
First off: Hello, I am new here. Entering a message board for the first time is usually a scary thing, but you people don't seem like the "rip out t3h n00b's spl33n" type, so I think I'm safe. Greetings to you all.
As for the topic of this post: Yes, I am a Jafar fan - "fangirl," to be precise. Ever since the Aladdin DVD came out, I've been scouring the Internet in search of others like myself, and have discovered that I am either a) the only Jafar fangirl who speaks English and has access to the Web, or b) the only Jafar fangirl on planet Earth. Statistically speaking, both of these propositions are nigh on impossible, so I decided it was time to get serious in my search and hit some communities.
Thus, I have installed myself on this message board, and am now putting out the call for Jafar fans in the hopes that I am not alone. I won't up and leave after this thread ends, mind you - I love Aladdin in general, and want to be a part of the community - but I'm afraid I won't be of much use in discussions, as I've never seen either of the direct-to-video sequels and have almost no memory of the television series. (It came out when I was young, and even then I only saw a few episodes.) Hopefully, I can get along without too much trouble.
So, to summarize: Hi, I'm new. I hope to stick around for awhile. Does anyone else here like Jafar? *looks around* _________________ |

h3ll0! h3ll0! Welcome to the board.
No, you are not the only Jafar fan out there. He's my favorite Disney villian by far. The guy is just awesome. To psychologically play around with a heros head is just brilliance.
And don't worry about the discussion thing. The thread usually goes off topic to something obscure anyways |

I'm new here too, but welcome.
I positively adore Jafar in the first movie. He's so deliciously bad. *drool*
But Genie!Jafar in RoJ, I really don't care for at all. I don't know what they changed, exactly, but it's not even the same character for me.
Jafar's not my favorite Aladdin character, though, (check the avatar for clues on who has that honor) and I wouldn't really classify myself as a Jafar fangirl. Still, I'll happily drool over him along with you. _________________ Hero... win?

Not a Jafar fangirl, personally his lips are just too freaky,
But I adore his voice!
It's odd, hearing that voice coming out of Jafar and finding out that it came from someone like Mr. Freeman who looks nothing like him.
Except for the hand gestures. _________________

Either Jafar or Mozenrath is my favorite villain, depending on how I feel that day. But you're definitely not the only fan. I see a lot of them at fanfiction.net (although most of them are very scary ). _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can! Jafar is an awesome villain
'...tall...dark'
hilarious,
'...and his beard is so...twisted'.
"Unique", but I can't say he's handsome!!!
He needs Iago though to look really cool, because sometimes his rhetoric really bores me out (especially when he sucks up to the Sultan or Princess).
Killer voice though!
I'd love to hear what you like so much about Jafar, so I could appreciate him more too. _________________ It never fails - you get in the bath and there's a rub at the lamp. -Genie

I know all the back dialouge Jasmine says while Al and Genie are talking, lol.
"You're tall, and dark (Yes..) well-dressed and I...love those uh...eyebrows. They're so tiny.....and your....cute little gaps between your teeth *laughs to self* (Go on) And your beard is so...twisted.
Yes I have seen the movie waaaaay too many times to know that. |

That's debatable.
There are alot of excellent Disney villians, but, thankfully, Jafar is one of them. _________________
