Hmm, do you think Mozenrath and Sa'luk could share the villain role in KoT? That would have been interesting to see. Or Mozenrath in the fourty theives. I think leaving the dancing with the pink ribbons part would have been taken to a new level with him there.
I also wanted to see more into Jasmine's past. Maybe when she was smaller and her mother was around. Or even when Aladdin was younger and his mom was around. I know they show a little bit in "The Lost Ones", but that's just that one scene. |

Time to go into rumor debunking mode...
All we know definitely (from this article by Aladdin series story editor and KoT writer Bob Schooley) is that they originally wanted Mozenrath to be the villain in the third Aladdin movie, but that they decided not to so they could distance it from the series. We don't know if the plot of the proposed Mozenrath sequel bore any resemblance to KoT or if Cassim was in it. I can see how people might think that they were brothers if all they hear is "Mozenrath was originally going to be in KoT", though. |
Ah, okay! I never knew where that rumor came from, originally. It must have been wishful thinking that got turned into full-blown rumor. :p
I do wish we could've had a bit more closue with the Mozenrath storyline. I'm really curious what would have happened to him.

Mozenrath and Saluk together with pink ribbons? That's a visual I never wanted AG. Thank you so much! _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

How come we haven't muzzled this guy?
Oh, yeah, on topic posting. I don't like the fact that the killed off the beast and shoved Merk with the subhumans. That's just really, really annoying. _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

Back on topic, I thought of something from the series that made me go, "hmm..." In "Elemental, My Dear Jasmine," Jasmine asks Al if he's had any other girlfriends before her. And of course, Al immediately answers "Tons!" *smacks forehead* In any case, that got me wondering - what if he DID have other girlfriends before Jasmine? I mean, he was the handsome troublemaker in Agrabah... what if that was really attractive to the flirty girls in the city? All secretly attracted to the handsome bad boy their parents wanted them to stay away from? I think it would have been funny to bring that aspect up. It would make for one jealous Jasmine! _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. Hey, he and those girls in "One Jump Ahead" were being pretty flirty, if you ask me. He strikes me as the type who dates a lot for fun but doesn't have any serious relationships.
Side note: Those fans who say that he was lying when he said he'd had other girlfriends, that he'd never looked at another girl other than Jasmine, bug me. (Nope, never thought about another girl! "Seems Like Old Crimes", "One Jump Ahead", and "Friend Like Me" never happened! The enemy has always been Eastasia! Tension with Sadira or Saleen or Mirage? Lalalala, not listening....) |

Exactly... those flirty girls were the ones that really got my train of thought going. Because Al definitely had that, "Hey, baby!" look on his face. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. You know, even if he did have morals, he was a growing teenage boy. He HAD to have urges. And he grew up on the streets! To cut it short, I don't think Aladdin was... completely innocent by the time the first movie took place.
Maybe it was a merchant's daugher who left... and came back a few years later when Al was engaged to Jasmine... holding a baby...
I'm so evil, yes I am. >D _________________

Side Note: Well shoot, If I was in Agrabah and saw him walking around I'd be flirty too! Hell, I'd never let him out of my sight. Wanted for crime, poor or not, I'd take him! How he wondered around Agrabah single is beyond me.
But yeah, There is NO WAY that he's only looked and been with Jasmine. He's too much of a typical guy not to have been. When Jasmine and Aladdin first meet, where is the first place he takes her? To his "house". It's no wonder why Jasmine keeps him on a "short leash." She knows his tricks, lol.
And I know Jasmine had to think some of those suitors were cute. Maybe not Achmed cause I don't blame her letting him go, but possibly the ones before hand. He should have been like, "Ok, which ones did you think were cute?" Oh the war that would bring up. |
