Yep, my teacher's talk about that all the time. My AP US History teacher took an entire hour doing a rant on it! "I can understand mixing up 'to' and 'too'....but when you put the NUMBER 2 in a paper in place of those words...you're getting an F because that's stupid." |

That sounds like the thing any of my instructors might say.

The only two people I've seen who hate bad grammar as much as you do are my dad and my twin sister. Never before have I met an internet person who was so adiment about their hatred of it.
Ya know, I was in the midst of a flame war with someone, and I started bashing their grammar. They wrote 'wut' instead of 'what' and said it was for short. Wow! One letter less! I didn't realize that was such a hard word to write!
Can we say...baka! Baka, baka, BAKA!

I don't like bad grammar either. It's just so depressing. I understand if they have trouble spelling a word that longer than six letters, but this net-speak is just disgraceful. _________________

I'm terribly sorry about the double posting, but, for some reason, the edit cannot be found. _________________

I prefer "Intellectually Disinclined."
Random Japanese also annoys me. People think they're so... I don't know, cute or something spouting off "KAWAAAIIIIII!" or "Chibi!" or calling themselves (name here)-chan. I honestly don't think they even know anything about the Japanese language other than a few key words. _________________

Actually, I study it in my spare time. The only reason why I haven't taken it as a course is because they don't offer it at the school I'm going to. I can take it and will when I'm a junior in college, though.

One thing about Japanese - it's easy enough to find resources for it online.
I hope I haven't made you feel insulted - I wasn't talking about you personally. The type of people I had in mind are the type who insist on peppering their entire websites with random Japanese here and there. I can understand using a Japanese word when no English equivalent is present, but when they start squealing about how KAWAAAAAAAIIII their favorite anime hero is... I kinda start getting violent urges. _________________

Wow, I hardly used the word "Baka" these days. I call those idiots mostly "retards", "imbeciles" etc. _________________ Well I'd like a Good Laugh too! I'm Laughing already! Hahahahaha!
