I like tea.
But I get what you mean. Everytime one of those commercials play, I just cringe. _________________

I'd stop liking tea if I had to drink it as much as they do

Take a look at the Amazon reviews for those Princess DVDs that have TLM and Aladdin episodes on them sometime, the ones written by the parents of 3 and 4 year olds: they're angry that they aren't getting movie-quality animation, they think the stories are either too dark and scary or too boring, and where are the songs? If that's the kind of feedback Disney's getting, no wonder this is what they're coming out with. If you want to sell DVDs, market to parents who want to use their TV as a babysitter. |
Wow, hmmm, I want to see this for the sake of seeing it but am not convinced to spend money on it.
Slightly off topic, but seriously, I read an Amazon review a few weeks back from a mom. She didn't want Disney movies and later explained that they teached 'bad things' to her toddler or something. She mention TLM, it teaching them how to not listen to their parents, and how in Aladdin it teaches you to be 'someone you aren't.' She was a complete airhead about it, also mentioning that she didn't want her child to hear words like 'shut up' and 'idiot.'
So uh, point of this post is that I agree with Calluna: Parents are depending on TV shows to teach their kids nowadays. |

What? That's the opposite of what it teaches! _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can! After all... you do bear the name of a flower." -- Arbutus |

...what did she do? Stop watching half-way through? Way to miss the entire point of the movie, mom |

Well,i got the DVD back in September I really it and both the stories (maybe Aurora's a bit more but still ).
Well, only the original film should be counted so i don't count the series.
I think Jasmine was on character a lot and i liked it better then the series i"m a Disney and a Disney Princess fan . _________________

Because all the sequels, the series and etc. are alternate realities,Disney always ingore things, for exmaple (here's an Aladdin example)-In the series Aladdin and Abu first met when Abu was belongs to some theive,in a book he and Aladdin first when Abu was a rich lady's pet and he escaped and met Aladdin, all those things never count, only the original things, unless in a way they show a character (for exmaple-In the series Iago is good and Jasmine is a fighter,so Iago is good and Jasmine is a fighter). _________________

I think I get it: so you consider all of the different media true as far as characterization, and consider all of the different spinoff "universes" as equal to each other? That's interesting; I've never heard of anyone else who thought about it that way. _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can!
