I haven't seen that movie since I was six and that was a LOOOONG time ago. So I forgot what her voice sounds like. I hear it's hard to tolerate. Is it really that bad?

For the time it was casted good, at least Walt Disney felt that way. But yeah I'm not a fan of Snows English voice. Actually I don't recall Snow White Dutch voice I only remember it's being redubbed with other voice actors in the 1980's or so.

Is it high pitched, cause that's what I'm hearing.

I have the Princess Collection CD and everytime it gets to a Snow White song, I turn it off. It's not just because her voice is high pitched, but more it's so...sugary and uppidy.

Her voice drives me nuts! I can't even describe it.

I was SO glad when they lowered her vocal range for the show at Disneyland. Now it's gorgeous. If only they'd put out a Snow White: An Enchanting Musical CD like they did for Aladdin!

LOL! I have to rent that and Return of Jafar the next time I go to Blockbuster. I wanna hear it. I heard one of her songs as a preview. I thought it was really high. But i can't remember what it sounds like. And I only remember one of her speaking parts.

It's kind of annoying, but I know it's because the type of voice that's considered attractive changes over time. So Snow White's voice seems too high to me (same with Marilyn Monroe Laughing ). And by the time they get to the 90s they actually made Linda Larkin lower her voice to play Jasmine. Wink

Yeah, saw the interview on the DVD and I kept yelling to myself,

"Linda, lower your voice. It's too high."

You know, I used to not like her voice, but...I can't imagine her with any other voice. Can anyone imagine her with a lower voice? I actually like her voice now. It fits her perfectly. Very Happy

I think she does lower her voice a bit to play Jasmine. I mean, did you hear her interview? Confused

lol, it didn't bother me. But you could tell the difference in her voice from the old footage to the new. Scott's voice has gotten a little deeper as well. They are getting older Crying or Very sad

His voice still cracks sometimes, though, and I love that. Very Happy

Too much gooey sweetness, if you ask me.

As for Snow White, I don't mind her voice in "I'm Wishing/One Song" but that's it... other than that? *Shudders*
