Sorry, no one really anwsered me, didn't the series actully END with Ron & Kim together? Or were there more episodes after the last movie?

I think the fans petitioned enough to the point where they get some more episodes and it's picking up right there. I am so not watching.

One of the best references I've seen was the Batman reference in Mulan. It's obvious if you know what it is, but if you don't, it's not going to leave to scratching your head and asking yourself what the heck was up with that.

That's exactly what Eric was talking about on the animator's commentary with the Arsenio Hall thing. No one knows where Arsenio Hall is at right now and his show has been off the air forever, but no one cares because it just looks funny Laughing

I can't believe they have already released Kim Possible dvd's and not Aladdin...*burning with fury, pours water over head and cools down*

I miss the old disney, no pop culture, smart ass talking animals, well still have talking animals just not like the current ones, and what about the love stories!!!!!!

*self confessed romantic*

i miss the classic animation too, am sick of these coputer animated ones.

I also miss the old animation Sad Many Disney's greatest film's were based on fairytales and books. So i think Disney needs to go back to fairytales or to neverendless themes like Arrow in Lion King or Bambi

I really hope they make a classic style one! I remember when i was little, being fascinated by watching TLM, and seeing all the undersea animals, or watching Aladdin, with all the exotic lands thing going on. DIsney should do another one....and i don't care how lciched it is, i just want them to make one!

So true. None of the new Disney movies coming out has appealed to me at all. They just sound rather...boring....plus, CGI is ok but sometimes I find all of the computer animation hurts my eyes. Sure it's more realistic but when they were still doing 2D it was like the movie still had heart. They worked on drawing the characters and animating them to perfection. Now it can all be done with a click of a button but seriously! Disney hasn't been the same since they released the sequels to the Lion King. After that, in my honest opinion it was all down hill.

I know. There's more...dedication?well, something put into actually working on the characters, than just doing it on computer. That actually makes them much more life-like. You know, like the animators actually, well, I'm not sure how to say it, but, like you care about them more.

I read somewhere on the internet that Disney had plans of going back to 2d animation, but I don't know how reliable that source is, so I can't say! But I sincerely hope it's true, the thing is though, all the CGI can look high tech and realistic, but will never capture a moment like the hand drawn stuff!

I mean when we watch these movies, it's not like we're asking for perfectly realistic stuff! That's why they are animations, and fun and all that! There's just more beauty in the drawing of Agrabah and the way they drew the hidden nooks and crannies the colours etc. To make something like taht in 3d, would just be weird and, well video gameish.

They'd better! And I hope they'd learned their lesson, and not try to be all high tech and all that anymore. It's just that us Disney fans are technophobes.LOLWell, just when it comes to Disney movies. We love the animation, not the computer images, cause for most other things, I'm actually a technophile. I mean I was thinking about it yesterday as I watched an alternate ending for Robin Hood. It wasn't completed, and they showed, like, the characters and the scenes, well, without colors, still with the lines, and all that. And, see, that's just part of the magic, IMO, I mean, to imagine that that's how all my favorite movies started out, and just look at them, when I watch them. They came a long way.

It was art. that's what it was. When they put so much effort and ca ito creating a masterpiece, that's exactly how it came out. It was something that couldn't always be taught, there was raw talent involved! The more computer animated stuff I see, the more one can feel that they are forgetting the artfulness of animation. Isn't that how a lot of huknaity has become, so technologically involved, we don't appreciate something really amazing when we see it, or, at least not as much? Well, Aren't I in a philosophical mood today! lol.

Raven was okay in Princess Diaries 2... if you discount the fact that she was there to (a) look pretty and (b) sing. A warning, though: That's So Raven is pretty lame. Along with every other show about teenagers I've seen. "Oh, it's about teenagers having teenage problems, but said teenager has some kind of cool power that adds a twist to their problems..." Smallville also killed me on this one. Why can't they ever make a show about a teenager with HALF A BRAIN IN THEIR HEAD who has REAL PROBLEMS?! NO! THEY JUST MAKE THE SHOW ABOUT TEENAGERS DOING ORDINARY TEENAGE THINGS AND LIVING OUT THEIR TEENAGED SOAP OPERAS! And the REALLY sad part is that half of these problems only come about because the kids just can't bring themselves to obey their parents for more than a couple of hours at a time. They even did a TV show with a genie - you KNOW how cool that could have been - and look how it turned out.

Drives me nuts.

But closer to the subject of Disney, I definitely agree that they're losing it. Mulan II convinced me of that. But, as was mentioned, it's getting harder and harder to find any decent movies these days -- roughly nine out of ten are way removed from anything I'd want to watch. And it's all thanks to the 'fart joke' obsession.

About Raven in PD2... I am incapable of feeling hatred toward anything that dresses that much like a mini-Guinan. If mini-Guinans are possible.
