Part 2 of the insanity

Ok yeah. I have nothing to say to this. I'm totally down with the whole change PotC ride to a more modern version because in the end it turned out to be pretty darn friggin cool. But this is kinda streching it dontcha think.... I mean, I know that place has been there since the park opened but seriously. Your already screwing up Fantasyland with that Princess faire that's gonna be pretty cheesy (and makes me wanna gag). Why do it with this as well. Plus, tell me what happens to fantasmic then. The whole foresty theme works with the show...but if you take all that out and make it all tropical and piratey it's gonna make the backdrop of fantasmic look a little dumb.

And with the DCA rumors of making it more pixar based (they're already working on a new pixar ride/ attraction where the old food places are under 'Screamin and the nemo sub voyage at Disneyland) All I have to say is oy.....

So this may only affect the Park nuts but hey, it can apply to everyone if needed

Geebeezes! I'm not even eighteen yet, and I'm starting to feel old-school. (If only because we have this cute furry cartoon of Tom Sawyer, but still!) You know, what they should do with TSI is add some informative stuff so these kids can actually learn about it, rather than just writing it off as being over the hill. "Simpler audiences", my eye! Just because kids have more advanced technology doesn't mean they're smarter. Those "simple audiences" were the kids who grew up to invent all this modern stuff! *throttles the smug, self-absorbed superior-seeming younger generation of which I am NOT a part despite my age*

On the other hand, you can never have too many pirates, and personally I'm quite fond of tropical vegetation. And if the place is getting too old, they really should upgrade it for the more varied park-goers of today -- by these I mean the ones in wheelchairs. Also, it seems to me that what they're doing to California Adventure can only be a good thing. I would definitely like to see what they can do for Cars. *imagines bouncing, talking car trolleys that drive backwards*

BTW -- my mom hasn't been to Disneyland for twenty years, and she says she doesn't even remember there being a Tom Sawyer Island. She does remember Pirates of the Caribbean, on the other hand.
