Thats right Disney is to make a Prince of Persia Movie based of the Video game by ubisoft. Its Prince of Persia:Sands of Time. It is said that Prince of Persia is a live action film just like Pirates of the Carribbean. basically with the Pirates trilogy over a new one begins and thats the Prince of Persia trilogy. I myself am really exctied since I have already played the Pop:SoT before.and its time Disney makes a movie with a middle eastern setting well set in persia so yeah call it what you want.AHHH I JUST CANT WAIT!Whats everyones feeling about this one(Im also soo curious on who will be casted as Prince Smile )

Even better its being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer who also worked on the Pirates of the carribbean trilogy

Heres an Article

Production Photos

I haven't played the game, but I might see this anyway...specially if I find out there's an evil vizier in it. What? Why are you looking at me like that?

There's always an evil vizier. Laughing

I've never played any of those games, but it looks interesting. I'm glad Disney's not afraid of making movies about the Middle East again. Smile

I'm familiar with the original game and the latest remakes. The vizier was the main baddie in the first game (and I think some of the orignal sequels), pretty classic MO. A little more dangerous in what I've played in the first of the latest trilogy; tricking the Prince into releasing the sands of time, turning everyone in it into sand zombies, etc. I wish I could say more, but I have yet to finish the games. Embarassed

Still, over all those games, they should have some good source materials.

And somewhere Mozenrath is cursing to himself for not patenting the mamluks. Laughing

It does tend to make you wonder why people hire viziers in the first place, doesn't it? Razz

Which one? There are quite a few good lines about viziers in that one.

Well, maybe they don't start out evil. It all comes down to one question, are they evil because they're grand viziers or are they grand viziers because they're evil?

Well, it's the same producer as PotC, but I haven't heard anything about Ted and Terry are writing it...
