I went back a few pages and didn't find this question. So I'll ask it. Why do you like Aladdin? What makes Aladdin such a good movie for you? Is it the good action scenes? Or the Comedy aspects? Or the sweet romance story? Or just a bit of everything.
For me I would have to say it was the action scenes and the comedy. The Genie and Aladdin has great chemistry between them. And ever since Aladdin, I have had a bit of interest in Robin Williams work... Also the songs were catchy? _________________ "Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead.

One word: Everything
But I love everything in this movie. It's just not your typical Disney movie. Out of all of them, I can personally relate to this one the most. The older I get, that's the more I see myself in the characters and the more I can relate to the overall themes, issues and lessons. Despite all the magic and make-believe elements, it feels the most real to me because it's not a exactly a straight from the book fairy tale...although it is from a book
And I'd be here forever talking about characters |

Well, lessee...
It's fun, original, sparkly, and all that good stuff. Fun characters, wacky gags, and a truly great villain.
And it's such an erstwhile movie! It dawned on me that Aladdin's parade into Agrabah was reminiscent of something you'd see in the 1960's - namely, it called to mind Cleopatra.
Also, it helped me develop an appriciation for Yiddish. XD |

Amen, Syera.
My lexicon is crawling with Yiddish, in spite of the fact that I'm half Hispanic and a Catholic. _________________

EXACTLY what she said.
The plot is amazing. The characters are perfect in character and in design. The songs are the best! Background scores and the main seven! And everything else!
It has all you would want in a movie! Action, suspense, mystery, romance, comedy, etc.
And I loved the story told on the DVD with the psychiatrist subscribing the movie to his depressed patient... Tells a bit about the genius comedy in it! _________________

I play the piano when I'm mad... And sometimes I play Aladdin songs! _________________
