Whoever played her in the first episode was perfect! I never realized how ill fitting the other voice actor was when I was a kid. I just figured the wavering and cartoon sounding voice of what became the "main Serena" was just Serena's personality. Since she's kind of a cornball and likes to give these super hero speeches and everything  I just rewatched the first episode of the English dub and her voice there is so much sweeter and less irritating. |

| If you're refering to the English version, it was because Tracey Moore (the voice actor for Serena in the first few episodes) left DiC Entertainment. |

It's hard to tell between the first two voice actors, but that third one was awful! The second one, BTW--for those that don't know--voiced a character called Shrieky in the 1980s.
