How I still love you. Very Happy

Hi, everyone! I'm Ellen, aka Disney Princess, and I'm newly registered here on the AC message board, but I've been following this site since it was started...I've been a member of the Aladdin Mailing List for 5 years now, and while I'm not as active there as I once was (who is?, sad, but true), I LOVE Aladdin, as any of my friends will attest to. Razz

About me: I'm 20 and a sophomore music business/professional and organizational communications major at a college in Ohio. I first saw Aladdin in November 1992, with my dad and one of my younger brothers, and I was allowed because I was good and drank all of my orange juice that morning. Smile

I'm working on the Walt Disney World College Program starting at the end of this month and am excited.

And, OK...something to keep this on topic...

Who here has seen Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at California Adventure? My college choir toured the LA area over spring break, and we had a free day to go to Disneyland, but the show wasn't playing that day. Sadness.

I missed the craziness of this fandom, so I decided I had to stop being a lurker on the boards, which I must say, have been detrimental to the writing of my music history paper. Embarassed

I've never seen A:aMS in person, but I have seen a video of it thanks to Kirsten. Smile

I looked in my Photobucket account because I thought I had an avatar of that, but I didn't see it. Confused

Well...could you actually catch Aladdin's "eyebrow" moment before the kiss? And for the time being, that picture by itself would be quite sufficient, as I am too tired to think of anything witty and brief that I'd want as text on it. Razz

NO. KIDDING. (I've been dating my boyfriend for 2 and a half years now, and he still finds it funny/odd/crazy/weird/scary that his great rival for me is...an animated character.)

I've always said if some guy tries to woo me he's gonna have to do one hell of a job to make it past Aladdin. Pathetic? Yes. Sad? Yes. Necessary? Probably not, but it's nice to have competition. I mean, who can outop a flying rug and a klepto monkey? Laughing
