Who is your favorite character in Aladdin?
Mine I would say is Princess Jasmine. She is sweet, smart, and not like most princesses.

I shall leave that one up to speculation.
Oh come on... I think I'm about the most obvious person here.
Here's a hint:

I like Robin Williams' Genie. As much as I love Dan Castellaneta, his Genie kinda resembles too much like Homer Simpson. _________________

Aladdin! I absolutely love him. Besides the fact that he's gorgeous, I think he's easily one of the most down-to-Earth characters Disney has ever created. He's quick-witted, generous, athletic, and has a good heart. But at the same time, he's far from that archetypal Disney hero, the perfect gentleman. He gets upset and irrational at times, just like anyone else, and the first thing out of his mouth isn't always the perfect thing to say. Through it all, though, his heart is in the right place, and he's an all-around good guy.
...did I mention he's hot? _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. But I will put anything into my mouth that is given to me, whether it's supposed to go there or not. Because... I'm different. |

You bet! *Purrrrrs*
Funny to think that they were gonna make him look more like Michael J. Fox, instead of Tom Cruise. _________________

Use the [ img] [ /img] tags, taking out the spaces of course.
And because I'm in the mood to shamelessly show pictures, here are my top 5 Aladdin characters:
1 and 2: (in order of their appearance in the pic from left to right)
3 and 4: (same as above... maybe. I don't know with them)
5 is a tie between:

Dear God, this is like a mother picking between her children,. lol. Although my closet and random parts of my room would say it's Jasmine, she's actually third. Genie is first and Aladdin is an extremely close second.
I've related to Genie practically my whole life. Besides the whole comedy aspect, there is so much more to Genie that you don't see in the movies or series. I've met some pretty crappy people in my life and much like a genie, they get their three wishes out of me and that's the end of our "friendship" or whatever they call it. No one ever really sticks around after they get what they want out of me or do the simple thing I ask in return, which is be a friend. They just want me to help them get something else and then poof. They are gone and leaving me out there. I think at times I am too giving because I just want to see other people happy because I can't necessarily grant my own happiness. I cry at the end of Aladdin every single time because of that. He kept his word and that meant the world to Genie. Someone finally stuck around and I didn't make him feel like he was being rented and put back into his portable prison-much like how I feel a lot.
And then Al....I think a large part of why I love this whole fandom is because he was different. I love him because he screws up like a real person and that adds more believability to me. He says the wrong thing at times, reacts harshly on little things, gets jealous really easily and can't stand paying high prices, lol. (Good thing he doesn't have to pay bills. I can see him flipping out on the water bill alone. "Unless you are outside, don't have that fountain on Jasmine!") He can be boring, adventurous, romantic and flat-out lazy and that's cool. He wasn't this perfect dashing prince, although he tried and failed miserably, lol. He's an all-around guy.
And to put what Kirsten forget to mention, he's hot, lol. |

Yeah. I love most everything about him. Though, once many, many years ago I was asked what was my favorite thing about Mozenrath, and I realized it's still the same today as it was back then.

FINGERS!
What did you think I was going to say?
But seriously - every time I look at those fingers I get just totally giddy and giggly and want to touch his hands so bad. I realized after seeing the first Harry Potter movie that the fingers are what saved Alan Rickman as Snape for me. (He's got the voice, but the looks are just a tad off. But when he did that :: Curls her fingers around her palm :: finger thing with his hand while addressing Harry the first time, I about died. ) And Mozey's fingers are everything I like - long, nimble, soft and oh-so-good with gestures. |

I'd have to say that my fav. character(s) is Aladdin, Abu, Sultan (he is just so flighty, it's so cute), Genie, Carpet, Jasmine, Jafar and Iago (these are in no certain order, but Al is definatly my favorite out of all, I've loved him the most these past 12 years. _________________ "You know what happens when my mom uses fabric softener?"
