This has most likely been done before, but what's your top 5 favorite Disney movies? (Besides Aladdin)
Also, what story/fairytale/legend/myth etc. do you think Disney should make next with traditional animation?
Anywho, here's me top 5.
1. Tarzan
2. Lilo and Stitch
3. The Lion King
4. Hercules
5. The Emporer's New Groove _________________

1. Mulan
2. Hercules
3. The Emperer's New Groove
And past that is gets tricky There's some movies I like, but wouldn't be able to place them on a list in any particular order-Treasure Planet, Lilo and Stitch, HboND, Oliver and Company, Robin Hood, Atlantis, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, and The Great Mouse Detective.
They'd all fall under number 4. But some of those movies I like for specific characters (Beauty and the Beast-Lumiere and Cogsworth) or animation (Atlantis when Kida crystalizes).
And I think it would be pretty cool if they actually did the story of Ali Baba and the fourty thieves or Sinbad, but I guess that would be too close to ours, huh? |

Dreamworks already did a Sinbad. I haven't seen it, though. _________________

Oh I know, I love it . If Aladdin wasn't done by Disney, He'd be a little more on the bad side like Sinbad in this movie, which is always great |

3. Pocahontas
4. The Lion King
5. Cinderella
As for new movies - I haven't really thought of that too much. Nothing in particular is coming to mind at the moment. _________________

I had recently read "The Disney that Never Was", a book about projects that they started, including really early conceptional art for "The Little Mermaid" that dates back to the fifties. After reading it, I made sketches of my ideas for "The Emperor's Nightingale", an idea that they thrown around throughout the book.
Or maybe if I ever get to work for Disney, I would submit one of my ideas, which kinda plays like a fairy-tale or myth.
As for favorite movies besides "Aladdin",
I will always stop to watch for Tarzan, Lilo and Stitch, Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Emperor's New Groove, and The Lion King movies (first one and one and a half only). _________________

1. Beauty and the Beast is a beautiful beautiful movie...and it has Stiers.
2. In place of Aladdin, Lilo and Stitch was very pretty, but I can get tired after watching it a couple times...but it has Stiers!
3. Lady and the Tramp is cool too. I had fun with it.
4. The Emperor's New Groove is totally underappreciated.
5. Teacher's Pet is NOT for everybody, but I loved it...it has Stiers.
There are nearly ten thousand runner-ups, including Hercules, Treasure Planet, Pinocchio, I guess I'd have to think more to remember, but even then, some movies that I didn't like simply because of incredible shmaltziness or radio-friendly music were still good: Lion King, Tarzan, Mulan, and Pocahontas to name a few. _________________ You can never have too much Baklava.

Oh, I LOVE Fox and the Hound!
Pocahontas had some of the greatest music ever and Mel Gibson, but No. 1 just for that...*squintches* it's your opinion...
AND IT HAD STIERS! _________________ You can never have too much Baklava.
