*thinks* I don't think my parents have sat down and watched anything dealing with Aladdin with me since it came out . My dad watches a series ep every once in a while, but that's about it. |

My dad watched a series episode the other day and laughed at it. I can't remember which one it was, but I know it wasn't one of my favorites. _________________

My dad watches them whenever I can snag the TV and watch it. I tend not to watch them on Toon Disney as much because they play the same ones over and over. He also watches the Tarzan and Hercules series as well. Weird father |

1. Favorite character(s) and why?: Aladdin definitely. He was a departure from most Disney heroes with his boyish charms. Cassim, his dad and proof that charm is hereditary.
2. Favorite song(s) and why?: Love all of the songs, but I've become a fan for the deleted songs, particulary "Proud of Your Boy" and "Count on Me". I get a bit misty-eyed when I hear PoYB, because it kinda reminds me of how I want to make my parents proud even though there is certain things I fail at.
3. Favorite scene(s) and why?: In "Aladdin", any scene with Genie makes me laugh; "KoT"; the "Welcome to the Forty-Thieves" because of Toothy.
4. Favorite line(s) and why?: "Pocahontas!"- cracks me up every time. _________________

I love that line too, almost positive it was ad-libbed.
My mom saw Aladdin: the original once, she said she thought it was just okay, that it was like an Arabian Cinderella or something. Then again, my mom is NOT a fan of animation in general at all, thinks it's ugly, childish, or both.
My dad saw about half of it, really wanted to see the rest, then forgot about it. I think if they KNEW there was a TV series, they wouldn't let my little sister watch it because of all the sorcery involved...and that would be the end of MY excuse for watching it. _________________ You can never have too much Baklava.

My parents actually watch Aladdin with me......my mom is the one who took me to see it in the theaters (I love her for that! ) She loves Abu and Carpet. My dad'll sleep through it most of the time, but otherwise, he likes it.
When I rent the series from our local Family Video, my parents will sometimes watch it with me, permitting theres nothing that they want to watch at the time. _________________ "You know what happens when my mom uses fabric softener?"

Mini fandom survey. This can be applied to all the movies and series so we have a broader range of stuff to choose from
1. Favorite character(s) and why?
2. Favorite song(s) and why?
3. Favorite scene(s) and why?
4. Favorite line(s) and why? |

3. Fountain with Sultan scene (right after the prince leaves)- Shows here strong personality
Runner-up: Jasmine seducing Jafar, who falls for it (he's weak minded)

Unsupported prejudice, that's all it is!
I've met people who thought like that. And those same people watch stupid live-action movies like "Dude, Where's My Car?" and "Half-Baked". _________________

My mom just doesn't have much of an imagination and thinks there's a certain cut off age where children should stop doing everything like watching cartoons, trick-or-treat, etc. *puts on her rebellion hat* |
