Realistically, Aladdin would've been filthy, smelly, having poor dental care, and he probably would have been kinda hairy.
Just felt I'd point that out even though no one cares. lol _________________

They could have used oils to clean themselves, since the lack of water, but not used like in "The Day the Bird Stood Still". More like covering their bodies with the oils and scrapping it off along with the filth and grime.
But, in retrospective, I can imagine Muslims being very clean as it's part of their daily prayer to clean themselves. However, some sources say they used sand instead of water because they considered it to be more pure.
Go figure. _________________

Yes, they did shave back then, according to the Old Testament in the Bible. They also got haircuts. But they did not have deoderant or toothpaste. And I'm not sure where they shaved. Jasmine probably would have had dark upper-lip hair. (I'm Arabic and I suffer that ) _________________

Still... back then, hygeine was BAD... so, yeah. Jasmine would still look really rough. Umm... did they shave? |
Hmm, the Taliban regime didn't allow men to shave their beards, but not all Muslim nations are uber-strict like that. To my knowledge, at least.
Just one of the images of post-Taliban Afghanistan that stands out in my mind, lines of bearded men lining up at the "barbershop". _________________

I got a caterpillar lip. Hispanic genes.
Anyway, keep in mind that this is Disney. It wouldn't be as appealing if they delved into those aspects in great detail. _________________

Well, I guess you'd have to play on genes and if your family has a history of being naturally hairy. She may not be that hairy, or the hair is there but just not as visible because it's thin.
All the men seem to be hairy on the sultan's side, but we've never seen a female from her family unless you include her mother in the books, but that's on her mother's side and not the females on the sultan's side.
.....I hope that made sense |

Still... I just don't think she'd be that attractive. Then again, I have had my spill about how I don't believe she's not a realistic looking 16 year old anyway. _________________ MysticMeg's Stories on THE LIBRARY OF AGRABAH!!!
