Well, we know there was Achmed...and there was some guy in "Do the Rat Thing" as well, was that Achmed?
But...making them up?

Make up a suitor, eh? Hmmm. I'll have to work on that later on. This book that I got yesterday talks about some of them. I might pick one to expand upon |

"One True Love" I'll have to upload the picture I scanned yesterday. She has all these nicknames for him and my favorite one was "Prince Macho", He said he is getting a wife who'll cook and clean (aka-her) and she said she wanted a husband who wasn't living in the stone age |

Nope, different guy. That was Prince Wazoo. They do look alike though; brothers, maybe? |

I was wondering if anyone knows or could at least estimate how old Achmed was when we saw him. That thought came into my mind, after watching the movie, and seeing how he walks, when he storms out, saying he's never been so insulted. I don't know why I thought maybe the guy was pretty old, and he was already having, I don't know, like, arthitis, or some kind of problems? I mean, he walked pretty funny.
BTW, wouldn't they be related? If only a prince can marry a princess, then the choice would be pretty limited. So, wouldn't all the royal families of the Seven Deserts be inter-related? _________________ "I too am a member of your species, Captain, or I was. Perhaps I am not anymore. I always thought he looked kinda older, but then again people think Jasmine looks about 21 and she's just 15 |

I personally already made up a suitor for Jasmine - whom you already know if you've read Consequences. Prince/Sheik Farid isn't really a bad guy, though. He's rather geeky and just a tad bit spoiled, but he's pretty decent overall.
The reason he ended up being a previous suitor of Jasmine's was because I realized that where he was supposed to live was pretty close to Agrabah, so it would only be logical if he'd been to court the princess at some point. She, of course, rejected him because he was just too geeky and his poetry was horrid. And he probably acted like a spoiled little prince. (I also figured that by the time Consequences was set, he'd had time to grow up a bit.)
I personally think it would be unfair for every previous suitor of Jasmine's to be a Spoiled Rotten Little Brat the caliber of Prince Achmed. And gosh, I certainly hope they weren't. If they ALL were that bad, imagine where the Seven Deserts are going to be in a few years when these young 'uns start coming into power.

If they weren't, Jasmine would've picked one of them before she found Aladdin. She's a spoiled too, a bit. I think her bitterness stems from years of not being able to have friends and go to the mall (marketplace) It could make a teen very angsty. Except unlike most teens, her father was begging her to start dating. |
