Finally into the CBS episodes!
The Return of Malcho: The winged serpent returns, determined to take his revenge on Iago.
Raiders of the Lost Shark: A shark that can swim on land devours most of Agrabah before Aladdin joins forces with a determined sea* captain.
*Can you really call Murk a "sea" captain? |

Gonna go with "Raiders of the Lost Shark".
It has Jasmine throwing a spear and an analysis of Aladdin's character and how greed for the shark's treasure affects him. _________________

My favorite part of that episode is Murk's reaction: "She miss de parrot." Still like RoM better though - it's funnier. _________________

......f*ck. I love these both to death equally. I LOVE Raiders because Aladdin in this one reminds me of the same complex Cassim has with the "choose me or the treasure" thing. Plus, Jasmine's sarcastic rant to herself in the desert is awesomeness. "You wouldn't let Aladdin save Agrabah without me? Oh, look! I can throw a harpoon"
But Malcho shows all Aladdin's insercurities about running the country and what he really is up against when he does become sultan. And since that's the part of the fandom we didn't officially get to see the outcome to...I guess I'll go for RoM.
Plus, like I told Heather, the "Bring out the big guns" bit cracks me up . Iago has been hanging around Genie and all his anachronisms too much. |

MUST YOU MAKE ME CHOOSE???
I love both of these episodes. RoM used to be my favorite, but I'm not sure anymore. I love them both... *sigh*
I think I'll go with Raiders here---I'm becoming a big Merk fan, so I might as well represent him, because there's no way in Hades I'm voting for Beast or Famine. _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

Murk isn't one of my favorite characters, he is a grumpy guy who hunted that shark far to long. And dumping Jasmine in the middle of nowhere doesn't plain for his case either. Malcho on the other hand is such a cunning villain. The uncertainties of Aladdin being in charge keeping the kingdom running is good character building for our hero. Having a big responsibility instead of fighting monsters. And of course "The Return of Malcho" is a Iago episode which is often a good thing even though it was Aladdin who defeated Malcho at the end. |
