Eh, I just figured that I'd post this, since I just made it for myself. I know I'm probably the only one who is mega-annoyed by the fact that In or Out on the soundtrack has generic chorus instead of the seven, but I'll just throw this out there. It's the film version if In or Out, if you haven't gotten that already. Laughing

I noticed Iago's "I love you guys" was different; I didn't notice they changed the voices of the thieves. Shocked The version on the CD is the same one as in the end credits, correct?

Yeah-- I'm not sure why that version of WTTFT is played over the credits..or the soundtrack...

The Forty Thieves get no respect. Rolling Eyes

A few petty gripes about the KoT soundtrack...

~The opening song is called "Party in Agrabah" in the end credits and "There's a Party Here in Agrabah" on the CD...what title do you all prefer?

~Abu's voice during the "We're finally getting married!" bit...sounds more like Donald Duck than Abu to me

~"When we drop by for cookies and tea" in "In or Out?"(or is it "Are You In or Out?" This one, I admit, I can't remember)

~"Oh, I love you guys" = not the same

~"The Wedding" starts the music when Genie sends the doves to lay down the white carpet for Jasmine, which is sad because I liked the music before that and would love a recording of it in case I ever got married...I have seriously considered using Al/Jas' wedding march...well, as seriously as possible for someone not remotely interested in marriage at this point in her life (I HATE "Here Comes the Bride"/bridal march from Lohengrin/whatever you want to call it)

~Random splicing of scenes in the score...the big one being "Jasmine and Genie/Cassim Leaves"...these scenes are nowhere near each other!

That being said, the extent to which I really care about all of these things is minimal...the vast majority of soundtracks that I own are in some way different than the versions of the music existing in the movies, because that 's the nature of soundtracks, and really, it's irritating for a split second and then the fact that there's a difference to notice becomes fun trivia. Very Happy

The only one on your list that really, really bugs me. The Forty Thieves are being held down by the man. Laughing

EDIT: Oh, and I prefer just "In or Out"..because IoO is an easier abbreviate than AYIoO, if you ask me.

I have had people ask me for that track because they wanted it for their wedding. I couldn't use it; everyone would know where it was from. Rolling Eyes
