I used to joke that Rasoul had the Agrabah version of the Marauders' Map, and that's how he knows where all the secret passages in the palace are. Laughing

And now doubt, he knows who's where as well. Laughing

I've analyzed the Aladdin movie to death, having the insane urge to recreate the palace as closely as Simmishly possible in The Sims 2. While doing this, I noticed a really odd thing about the palace.

Now, bear with me...

-We know that the fountain is in the front yard. We also know that the door leading to the throne room is at the very front of the palace, which faces Agrabah.

During the "marry the shrew" scene, Jafar also stands on a balcony that is BEHIND the Sultan's throne. Logically, it should be facing the back yard - yet you can see him watching Jasmine by the front-yard fountain.

When Aladdin arrives in Agrabah as a prince, the Sultan and Jafar watch the procession from this same balcony - again, while they should be facing the backyard, they are inexplicably looking from the front of the palace and toward the city!

There's a simple answer to that. There's more than one throne room! Laughing

It could happen. I always wondered why Jasmine never had her own throne...

Lol. Alright.

Or, maybe she has one, but she's never been able to find it.

Why not? The place is huge. Anybody, beside the Sultan, can lost in there. Why do you think they have a tour guide? Laughing

Laughing Actually considering the Sultan's intellect, I'm not so sure even he wouldn't get lost.

I always though there was the main entrance in the front and then a balcony on the side. (The one you see when the Sultan is flying on Carpet in the throneroom after the "Prince Ali" number.) And on a round balcony, you can see outside all directions (except for behind you, of course).

I thought Jasmine's fountain was in the back since her balcony over looks it and when Aladdin kisses her goodnight, he flies down near it...
