If Disney was to make another sequel to Aladdin, what do you think it would be about? (Like life after KoT, One after series but before KoT)

Hmph. If there's one thing I've learned about sequels, it's that the minute you get married, you can expect to never, ever have an adventure focusing on you and your now-spouse again. But one might be made about your offspring.

I don't think there should be another sequel. They'd probably mess it up royally. They'd make it about Aladdin and Jasmine's whiny/bratty/annoying/rebellious/all of the above child.

I WOULD like to see something about Aladdin and Jasmine after they are married that focuses on Aladdin and Jasmine and not their puling spawn. But that's never gonna happen, ever.

Yeah, I agree. It probably would turn into something like TLM 2 or something where it's about their daughter/son. I would like to know what Cassim and Iago do/go after they leave. I remember the first time I watched KoT. I cried... I hated the ending...

i've been wanting to hear about cassim and iggy, too. i cried, also. Crying or Very sad i also want to see how the palace reacts to having a street-rat with no clue about politics. i'm not trying to put him down, that's just the way some would see the situation.

And that's very understandable. It would be hard for Aladdin to be able to adjust to that kind of lifestyle... Especially when Sultan Hamed dies.

That reminds me of a question. When the 'Prince' and Princess get married, do they automatically become Sultan and Sultana, or do they wait till Sultan resigns/dies?

Well, there are a few Disney sequels that focus on "life after happily ever after" Laughing

However, I'd KILL if they made a sequel based on their child. HATE HATE HATE. Mad

I'd want a sequel that goes before the first movie and talks about everything before we see them. Hopefully, it would be done well.

I hate sequels based on the former main character's spawn... it's horrible. TLM2 made me mad.

I also hate reading fanfics about Al/Jas's children. That's why I wrote my own. All of them are based after Al and Jas are married. One even deals with the Sultan's death... and the feelings mixed in with Aladdin's rise to power.

If you're interested it's in the Library. It's called "A Rise To Power"

I don't necessarily hate fanfic about Al and Jas' children...I love the Al/Jas family set up in the stories by Sedeara and Nevi Publishing (Evi and Kristin).

I'd hate to see a sequel based on this premise. There was a rumour out of Spain SEVERAL years ago that there would be a sequel about Al and Jas' rebellious son, Babba (riiight), who, guess what? Didn't want to be a prince, did want to run around the streets, find a genie, and have adventures. However, if my memory serves me correctly, this was mentioned by someone not connected to Disney on a radio broadcast in Spain, once, and I don't know of anyone who heard any more on the matter. What a terrible plot that'd have been; I think I may have died.

But I don't think I really want to see another Aladdin sequel...I think the story ends at a good spot. And I don't know if I'd trust any more sequels...

Yeah, Alex heard it on the radio; it was probably a joke. Rolling Eyes But that is definitely the cliche "kids sequel" plot.

Laughing I remember that. Struck fear into my heart.

And if you notice, you can replace 'streets' with 'seas' and 'a genie' with 'a trident' and have TLM 2. Laughing
