I was wondering if disney would ever think of making a new Aladdin movie or even new series episodes..we know its over but lets imagine...i was on a Brade Kan's web site as i read a post by him answering some fans why he didnt appear on the aladdin special edition, as he replyed by saying he was asked to appear but he refused because these stuff he did ages ago and he's not the same person anymore,life made him change,etc.. he even changed his name to Caleb or somthing..so that shows that there's no way he could ever think of doing aladdin's singing vocie anymore Sad

..Do you think disney would ever think of getting aladdin back even with new voice talents just like they did to cindrella,other stuff or they'll just keep it like this like snow white & sleeping beauty??

Unfortunately, they will eventually have to do that if they decide to keep the Aladdin legacy going just as they have for the other movies Sad

I hope they don't end up doing a new movie with new characters like aladdin's son maybe, like they did to the little mermaid 2 that would be the worst nightmare...then we would consider aladdin being some kind a guest in a movie and we're forced to accpet he's not the hero anymore..

Maybe in 20 - 30 years when Disney produced 3 CG sequels to the rest of their movies Disney starts over again with Aladdin 4 to 6. I agree that it's not a good idea that the company Disney currently is should make a sequel.

If there was a way they could get back the same people who worked on the series and the other two sequels to do another one, then I'd be in favor of it, definitely. Other than that I'm not sure. Confused

But a lot of movies have gone years with nothing and then got a new sequel or TV show, so I don't want to say it will never happen...

Yes, only if they have the same people. If you have different people, it doesn't work out. I used to want them to do a Corazon Salvaje 2, but after Eduardo Palomo, who did Juan del Diablo died, well, it wouldn't be the same without him. Same with everything else. I mean, can you imagine Aladdin with a different voice?

Scott Weinger would definitely come back no matter what because he loves playing Aladdin. Smile

Along with the same producers, directers, etc. working on the film, NO KIDS IN THE SEQUEL are allowed!! That would KILL me. Granted, I'd still see it, but dammit--I won't be happy about it. Laughing

I really, really want a prequel. So what if Genie might not be in it? I think if they really tried, they could pull off a decent story.
