I heard that they added Jack Sparrow and company to the POTC ride. Is it true? I hope not! Sad

Yep! Truer than true can get and I have to say after riding it today twice. IT ROCKS!!!! Very Happy

The only ones really added was Cpatain Barbosa to one scene, Jack to about 3 spots where you can spot him and the newer character Davy Jones to one part. Trust me it's nothing to worry about. The did it well enough to add in new elements but at the same time keep the original spirit of the ride Smile

Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World got enhancements to add film characters to the rides...Disneyland's is open, and supposedly WDW's got a soft-opening yesterday and the 'official' reopening will happen on Friday.

I'm excited by the positive comments I've heard from Disneylanders, but refusing to look at any pictures yet. I'm bound for WDW in 6 weeks and want riding their version to be my first actual look at any sort of refurbed Pirates ride. Smile

Yes they did. Hopefully I can get to see it. Well my friends has pictures on the ride on her myspace if you guys want to see. I really like that picture of Jack when he is sitting on his throne.

Dangit, how come you guys get to go to your local theme park and ride PotC while I'm stuck hundreds of miles away from the nearest location? I don't even have the money to go to California if I COULD muster the resources!
