As the biggest [by that I mean the only] Jafar fan I know, I'm pretty sure I annoy people by how much I imitate him. Like just the other day I was with my mom and stepdad in the car and he puts on country music which I HATE and my mom asks "Aren't you glad you came with us?" so I said "ecstatic." It's become a bit of a natural response for me, even if people don't know I'm quoting Jaffy. [Which my stepdad did not know, he just took it literally! Addlepated twit!] That and one time I was winning a game by a really crazy margin and I had to hold myself back from saying "Now where were we? Ah yes! Abject humiliation!"

"I'm so worried." - Jafar, RoJ

"To what point and purpose?" - Jack Sparrow, PotC

"Oh, this is just too good!" - Syndrome, The Incredibles

I probably would say 'savvy,' but it's too attached to Jack Sparrow/Johnny Depp for comfort. If I wear a bandana, people accuse me of 'dressing like Jack Sparrow.' I don't need them getting more ideas than usual from my vocabulary. Razz

Instead, I use the Yiddish equivalent - "farshtayst." Very Happy

Yeah, but not many people (unless the majority of the people you hang out with are Jewish) know Yiddish.

Feh. They can learn.

...Which calls to mind - Edna Mode is so quotable - especially the way she says "dahling." Very Happy

Hmmm...I'm sure there's lots.

Like, who doesn't say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught"?
"Oh, kill joy!" - Cinderella (I used to think that was the funniest thing in the world.)
"Ladies don't start fights, but they can finish them." - The Arristocats
"[insert sentence] It's r-r-r-rude!" - The Little Mermaid
"Who's been painting my roses RED!?!" - Alice in Wonderland (Yes, I do shout this out of nowhere on occasion.)

I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of them right at the moment.

Your stepdad thought you were SERIOUS about being ecstatic? *Laughs self into an early death*

Aladdin Disneyisms that I use:
"It'll be fun!" - "It'll be tricky..."
"Ecstatic."
"It's the cape talking, isn't it?" - Only once in awhile.
"Heeeeeeaaaaaagggggggh -- OY!"
"Patience, (name here), patience."
"The madness is spreading! Why am I surrounded by all these warped people?"
There is one Aladdin quote I use, too, that isn't a Disneyism -- it is, in fact, a Popeyeism. "Open sez-mee." Said on occasion when I open anything.

Incredibles Disneyisms that I use:
"Oh, this is just too good!"
"Lame, lame, lame, lame, LAME!"
"Feh. I used to design for GODS."
"Feh. - (anything said in the accent)"
"Do I HAVE to answer?"
"Be specific, Bob."

POTC Disneyisms that I use:
"Fine."
"HOOOO-ooooo!"
"It's remarkable how often those two traits coincide."
"Your funeral."
"You have [absolutely] no idea."
"Bleak - very bleak." (Only once in a while.)
"Nothing I'd lament being rid of."
"No, I really think I do."

Finding Nemo Disneyisms that I use:
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
"Hey, conscience, am I dead?"
"Wow. I wish I could speak (insert language here.)"
"Theeeeeeeere's.... nothing to see here."
"I'm obnoxious!"
"Nice."

Toy Story Disneyisms that I use:
"All right, then I will."
"Use your head!"
"I come in peace." -usually followed by "Shoot to kill" or quoted from Stargate, but there's the Buzz-ism that slips through.
"You are a sad, strange little [wo]man."
"A beautiful yarn full of hair. A hair full of yarn."
"I don't like confrontations!"
"RAAAAAAAAR!" (Only once in a while.)
"Hey! I'm (insert name here)! Howdyhowdyhowdy."
"This is weirding me out."
(with disgust) "Was?"
(Rex-like fake vomiting)

Monsters, Inc. Disneyisms that I use:
"I'm watching you, Wazowski. Always watching."
"Don't let it happen again."
"Kitty!"
"Put that thing back where it came from, or so help me..." (In song.)
Any variation on "scary feet". "Scary teeth, scary teeth," "Stinky feet, stinky feet," etc.

Beauty and the Beast Disneyisms that I use:
When asked "What can I say?" I typically respond, "Say you'll marry me."
"New and a bit alarming"

There are probably more, but that's all I can think of.

And this doesn't even include the non-Disneyisms I use... "Sure," (the Kevin Costner variety) "Indeed," (Teal'c) "It's like a puppy-dog," (Miles O'Brien), etc. I'll have to make a separate list for those.

My most frequently used Jafar-ism, "Ecstatic" is already on here for most people but how about "You cannot just parade in here uninvited"? From now on if anyone comes into my room without telling me I'll say that, although it'll be kinda hard for me not to know because I live in the attic. [Anyone who makes a Cinderella wisecrack will die.]
My other useful Jafar imitations are "Calm yourself Iago" [I just call the un-calm person Iago because it's easier than trying to say their name in a Jafar voice] ,"Interesting" and "addlepated twit." Or "[insert important-sounding thing here]...that would be me." Saying royal vizier doesn't make much sense but anything can be paraphrased!!

As of late I've noticed I've started to develop some of my own oft-used lines. Kind of interesting, that. Somehow makes me feel accomplished as my own individual...

I can say "Calm yourself, Iago," when addressing my cat. Of course, I named him because he has a big mouth, so next time he does something worthy of that phrase, I'm so gonna use it Very Happy

Even More Totally Useful Jafar Quotes
"The idea has merit"
"Obviously less than worthy"
"Where is it? Where is it? Nooooo!" [common routine I do when looking for lost objects]
"I'm so worried"
"Tell me more about myself" [I am so going to say this the next time someone compliments me]
"Whoever has the gold makes the rules"
"I'm afraid you've worn out your welcome prince Abooboo"

One that I ilke, is from Hercules, when Meg says:

"Are you always this articulant?"

I keep using that line now (as a joke), whenever anyone is lost for words or is stuttering, (but not in a mean way!)

Actually I meant the only one I knew off-line. I used to think I was the only person in the entire universe who liked Jafar...was I ever disillusioned.
