This seems to be the first time that JASMINE really seems to pay attention to how attractive Aladdin is. His face changes dramatically as he helps her up, from "aw, here, I'll help you out" back to the "Woooow" from when he first saw her.

Yeah, not to mention the situation they were in before hand. Um...she was gonna get her hand chopped off. There wasn't time for a "Damn, you're HOT. I think I'll save you!" "I could say the same for you! Thanks!" moment Laughing. They were kinda caught up in something else, so I think that would be the last thing you're thinking about. He just knew he had to save this girl. He's a nice guy, he does that.
After they got far away from the marketplace and the situation, THEN there was time for "*trips" Oh dang nabbit. I'm sorry abo....ooh, Y HALO THAR ALADDIN!" Laughing. It's the first time you really see she acknowledges he's not too bad on the eyes because during the MP scene, she was out of it (not to mention running away from that same thing. You run away from all the icky boys to find more icky boys? What? Laughing).
Then you get to the hovel scene and the actual substancial connection is made ALONG WITH the attraction. They didn't fall in love per se, but there was more definitely a spark that I wouldn't call lust either. Any "lust" that would have been there was quickly put out when they realized they had more in common than they thought and it was a deeper common bond. You start to see a relatability there that I don't think would have come across or even happened if Jasmine wasn't in disguise and not putting the princess image first.
