Someone made a The Little Mermaid music video on youtube with the Hannah Montana theme song, "Best of Both Worlds." When I first saw the title, I immediately thought it was a horrible idea and that the video would be horrible. Surprisingly, the video matched perfectly with the song  And the creator of the vid is actually really good at making videos.  Which leads me to believe that there is hope out there - that people can appreciate both old disney and new disney. It's sad that certain franchises have been given the shaft while others are given overexposure but this video shows that stuff older disney fans can't stand can coexist peacefully with the stuff that they love, if it's executed the right way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqotL0FTbbk&feature=related |
