You're an American hero.
Looks great! His hair looks kinda a little too groomed, but it's only a quick look.
Also - I just had to explain to my boss what happened in the trailer. He asked, "So is that when Aladdin finds the genie bottle?" _________________

Jafar on the middle left there. One of his men (the guards?) threw Aladdin towards the cave so I'm wondering how that plays out cause it doesn't seem like it's the uncle angle from the original or the crazy old beggar angle. |

Yeah, I really want his hair a mess but the eyebrows are on point, though.

Weren't there early mentions of Jafar having a sidekick? Isn't that the white guy everyone got their panties knotted about?
Looks like the cave is a lion too. (My bf and I were just debating the other day if the cave is a tiger or a lion.) _________________

Were there? I guess he will need someone to play off since Iago isn't a factor here, but having some guy around is gonna be weird.
I think it's still a tiger like the original. It's just emerging out the side of a mountain so it looks like a mane that's more lionish than tigerish. |

Just went to Wikipedia to confirm. I was thinking of Hakim and Billy Magnussen (mushed them together).
Quote: |
Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders: a suitor and potential husband for Princess Jasmine from the kingdom of Scanland, and another exclusive character who did not appear in the original film.
Numan Acar as Hakim: Jafar's right-hand man and head of the palace guards. |
It also mentions that The Sultan is "wise." _________________

I see how Jafar is able to get away with everything already.
He better still have a toy collection |

People complaining that Naomi Scott isn't in the trailer is a not so subtle reminder of how much the Disney Princess franchise has taken over everything. - including the one movie that isn't about the princess . It is literally Aladdin's movie, are y'all serious? |

I'm honestly impressed so far. Agrabah looks gorgeous, the music is fantastic (was that Friend Like Me close the end, just with a more epic tune?) and even the Cave of Wonders looks quite nice, though I admit at first it looked weird, even if I see what they were going with that.
My only complain is that it's too short and doesn't tell much about the movie itself, but that's teasers for ya. Hopefully we will be getting more information soon.
I won't deny, even if I had doubts and still do, I'm very excited about the movie now. |

Unless you're Meesh's boss, everyone else should know the story by now
That was definitely Friend Like Me and Arabian Nights in the beginning
I appreciate they kept the color scheme as close to the original as possible, too. I was worried it would look really dull, but it's quite vibrant. |

Let’s hope you are right. Wouldn’t be surprised if there were others like him.
Yeah, I was surprised as well how vibranr t the colors were. Definitely a welcomed touch there.
Really hope they will keep the color codes they had in the original. Sure it wasn’t a complicated one, but it was enough to really show how a character is in general.
I still kinda debate if I like this Aladdin or not. He looked alright, but for me something was off, not really that handsome. Pretty sure later on I will get used to it, but atm not that impressed with him (guess I have been spoiled with how Aladdin looks in the original)
Really hope we will see the other characters as well soon, including the new ones. |

He looks good to me
I was actually worried it would be too vibrant, like OUAT style. _________________

It's probably just me then.
I think it's pleasantly vibrant. Not dull but also not too vibrant. Just gives you the feeling of it being a fairy tale and that magic is present in the world. |

AG - Your new post doesn't have a subject, so I can't access it again now that I've read it. It was quoting Mena talking about the differences between the 2019 and 1992 movies, yes? _________________
