By this I mean, are there any Disneyisms you use in your day to day conversations?
Aladdin Disneyisms:
- "Behold, my shorts!" While trying on clothing at a store.
- "Yeah, that's the stuff" While putting cheese on some pasta
- "A warning would be nice!" While stopping quickly in a car
- "I can feel it" During any situation where I can...feel stuff.
Lilo and Stitch Disneyisms:
- "Oh, blitznak" About seventy five times per day.
- "Patookie" has replaced the swear word for my rear end.
- "My friends need to be punished" When I discuss them
- "Leave me alone to die" After getting home from work
Hercules Disneyism:
-"That's true, as far as you know. Anyway..." During moments that are set up in that way... if you know what I mean.
The Emperor's New Groove Disneyism
- "Oh, I can feel it" In situations where Rasoul's "I can feel it" doesn't quite work.
There are so many more, but then this post would be miles long. What are some of your favorites? _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

Oh man, there's so many of them, and of course now I forget them all... here's the ones I can think of offhand:
Aladdin:
-"You're only in trouble if you get caught!" Plotting something at work...
-"Tricky is good..." See previous
Finding Nemo:
-"Happy feeling gone." Anytime that happy feeling leaves suddenly
Disney Parks:
-"Some imagination, huh?" From Fantasmic, after I explain some scenario in my head, usually weirding people out.
-"We wants the redhead!" From Pirates of th Caribbean, comes up all day long when I'm in my pirate costume at work
-"Here, take it back, I didn't really want it anyway!" From Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular, whenever I've yoinked another pirate's hat at work, and I chuck it back to them as their character comes over to wail on me...
-"That's a people!" From Walt Disney on a Disneyland special, coming up randomly whenever my old roomie and I talk about Disneyland/World
Fab Five:
-"Arf!" (or using any vartiety of punctuation afterwards) used as a greeting/conversation/whatever when talking to a friend who is also a former big yellow puppy.
I'm sure there's more, I'll think of them eventually.... _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. But I will put anything into my mouth that is given to me, whether it's supposed to go there or not. Because... I'm different. |

TLK:
"You have no idea." - in response to someone calling you weird.
Interesting enough, Jeremy Irons uttered that famous line from an earlier role in "Reversal of Fortune".
Movie trivia for the day.
Bow to Josh Whedon, puny mortals. |
